"Several months ago I placed an order on the company's website. About a week later, I received an e-mail from the company saying that my order had been canceled because the items that I ordered were not in stock, and that my money would be refunded within 48 hours. A few weeks later I had still received no refund. I wrote an e-mail received no reply. Again, I wrote and questioned the status of my refund. Again, no reply. Then I called - no answer. I left a message describing what happened. Still absolutely no response, nor any refund."
"I ordered the Hurraw lip balm and a Pai Skincare moisturizer. Found a coupon on line and got free shipping which I thought would take ages, but super impressed, got my order in under 7 days. It was wrapped really pretty and included free samples.
Had an issue with the lip balm, it was stuck in the dispenser, called customer services and Richard agreed to replace it right away without any quibble."

They have a lot of different products (a lot of them I can't afford!), but I love what I purchased. It came to me in a tissue wrapped box and box with a handful of samples which I was not expecting.
When I called about when to expect my delivery, the person I spoke to was very helpful and I received my order on the date they promised."
"I was prompted to write this because I read on another review site that other people have had a similar bad experience as I had..I honestly think this company is not trust worthy.
On 1/25/12, I purchased several items from Gotham which apparently they no longer carry (meaning they failed to remove items from their site, causing customers to think they have the inventory). A little over a wk later I got an email from them stating my order had been cancelled do to "lack of inventory" and was promised a refund in 3 business days..I said fine, mistakes happen as long as you fix the error promptly we can go on our merry way and maybe I'll purchase from them again. Five days later when I notice my refund had not been issued, I sent them another email asking them for an update because I still haven't received my credit..I was told they would check with their billing co and they would get back w/me in 24 hours. Another 5 days has passed and they never got back with me nor do I have my credit. I will now proceed with a dispute w/my financial institution. Time fame: placed order on 1/26 and it is now 2/15/12.
I'm not a complainer, but this has gone too long. Gotham is not customer friendly..and they are not willing to correct their mistakes. If you goggle this company's reviews you will see my situation is not a unique case. "
"Ordered a couple of times with this company. Fast shipping and great products. Unfortunately one of my foundations was damaged when I received it, however, I spoke with customer services and they shipped a replacement out without any problem.
Disappointed that they have discontinued the 100% Pure range as it's my favorite, but still gonna continue shopping as there are a lot of new brands I LOVE!"
