"I had used GotPrint before and had good results so I assumed it would be the case again. My business cards were cut horribly off centered, and the company said my artwork was the problem, but my artwork was submitted centered and looked fine in the proof. After some back and forth they finally offered store credit. It did not include the shipping cost, which I didn’t expect, but would have been nice since all 250 of my cards were unusable. I reordered with a new artwork file (I decided to change the font and some sizing) and paid shipping again. They arrived, and were…fine. Not great, not terrible, just okay. Some of them were cut off centered again but not as bad as last time and the last thing I want to do is deal with them again so I’m cutting my losses and finding a new company next time. I asked around in my small business community and several others have had similar experiences recently which is quite sad. "
“Thank you for your message. On the template, there are 3 lines, the blue line is the safe zone, anything inside that area will print, the red line is the ideal cut line and the black line is the bleed line. Any text or logos should be within the blue line, and background image or color should extend to the black line. When we print, we do not print on the final sized card, instead we print multiple orders on large sheets of card with the same card stock and quantity, then cut to size. We ask for the artwork to be within these areas so if there is a shift during the cutting process, your important art work is not cut off. Thank you”

Please note that some of the text on your file is very faint, and that when you view your file on your computer monitor, it is not the same size as the final product, in this case a 2 inch by 3.5 inch business card. "Poor print quality, wrong colors, fuzzy printing, sloppy cutting followed by lousy customer service. I was told they couldn't actually print the cards correctly but if I paid to ship them back I could get a reprint. Why would I get a reprint if they can't print them properly? So now I have boxes and boxes or horrid cards and they refuse to work with me. Talking to them just goes in circles and never gets resolved."
“Hello. Because the cards you ordered had different quantities, they were printed using different methods and that is why the colors were different. Our Quality Control department offered you a store credit so you could place an order with higher quality files, you however requested a refund, so as per our terms and conditions, we requested the items back. Thank you”
"The guarantee they have on their website is for show. I was scammed. If there is an issue with your order, you will receive a canned response taking no responsibility for their error. They will give you a refund but expect you to pay return shipping, again, even if it is their printing error. I chose them to support a small , family-owned business. Never again. Even if they had not made a printing error, the quality of the business cards is awful. The order of 100 cards took 3 weeks to arrive and they charged more for shipping then the cost of the cards. There is not one positive thing I can say about GotPrint. Lesson learned the hard way. "
