"I recently ordered a "Nanopulser" (battery de-sulfator) from Great Boat Gear (GBG). Although I had not dealt with GBG before, in looking online for the best pricing on a "Nanopulser" GBG came up as having the best price. A brief search for GBG online did not turn up any negatives (or positives -- they seem to be a fairly new company) so I ordered the item. Everything went well, except when I got the the shipping charges...which IMO were too high. I went ahead and ordered anyway because I'd still come out ahead compared to other vendors selling the "Nanopulser", but I did add a note saying I thought shipping was too high for this small light-weight item, especially being sent via USPS.

GBG responded and after a couple of e-mails on this, the shipping was recalculated and it was much more realistic. As a result, I am quite happy with my experience and also with the vendor for adjusting the shipping charges.

I don't know exactly how they figure shipping there but if they address that single issue, they'll be ahead of their competitors as everything else -- item price, fast order processing/shipping -- was excellent. I would certainly do business with them again, hoping they do re-evaluate how they calculate shipping charges, especially for small lightweight items that ship via USPS.

Consequently, I have nothing negative to say about them presently, as they responded to my concern in a very fair manner, so I have no trouble recommending Great Boat Gear if you're looking for something in their product line.
