"I really wish I read these reviews before ordering from them. They did a bait and switch on me. When I went on their website originally I had selected black chair to go with the white dining room table. I had a newborn on the way and there's no way I would select white chairs for a table set in my kitchen. I did a lot of research before ordering them to try to find the cheapest place and I guess when you find the cheapest place, you get screwed! They sent me an email saying it was backordered and asked if I wanted to cancel the order which I now wish I had. The white chairs have been available on every single website 4 months now so I'm not sure why they were back ordered on their site. I definitely selected the black chairs which is why I was willing to wait since they were back ordered on many websites. They keep telling me that black chairs were not an option but they were when I placed the order months ago and was charged for it. It was backordered until today and they were getting shipped out today and I received a shipment confirmation but they are on the west coast so there's no way that they were shipped yet and they won't stop the order and want to charge me all of the cancellation fees and shipping to and from that was initially free. Basically, I won't get a refund on the dining room table and chairs that I also won't have. So now I have no kitchen table. With a newborn, I don't have the money to just throw away like that and I would need that money to be able to purchase a dining room table and chair sets which now I will not be able to do. This is ridiculous! And I really really really wish I had read all the other reviews about this company before placing the order. I'm going to try to fight it with my credit card company and see what they can do but I'm not holding my breath."
"I ordered the nightstands and paid in full, up front $3,200.00. I get a phone call several weeks later when I am expecting them from someone at Great Furniture Deal saying they will take another 4 weeks and I was nice and said that's ok. I then waited and got a call saying it will be another two weeks to get to my house. Then I got a call saying it was going to be another week after that. They get here and both nightstands were wrapped in black plastic around card board that was broken, torn, dented and taped in all directions to be held together. When removing some of the card board the one night stand was split open entirely through on one side from top to bottom. The other nightstand had the molding coming off where it had been glued back on on the right side. You could see the glue. I follow the instructions Barbara gave me via email and phone call to take photos, document on the delivery slip the damage and to not accept the damaged merchandise. I told Barbara with customer service I wanted my money back. Barbara told me she would file a claim, that I did everything I was supposed to do. I then get an email from her stating CFC is shipping out new nightstands, completely ignoring my request for my refund. I called Barabara and told her I was not happy with this situation. She said she would have the company expedite the nightstands. Now I get an email from her saying they will take another 7 weeks from the last delivery date to get the nightstands. I have waited a long time. Great Furniture Deal has had my money for months now. I have company coming in for the holidays and no furniture now on either side of the bed in the guest room. I am not happy with the quality and service with this transaction/business deal."
"I ordered the dining room set from them because the price advertised was great. I submitted the payment thru PayPal because I thought that it will protect my purchases. After 2 months and no response from them because supposedly the item was broken by the carrier before arrive, they decide to send them to NY to fix it. I told them that I bought a brand new set not a refurbished furniture. The supervisor Katy told me that they had the right to fix the item and send it back to me, that I had to read the police to see that I signed for that. Something that was ridiculous. I called PayPal and they refund me the money because not excuse to wait so long time for delivery. Well the company star calling me that I need to submit the payment again and I explain them what I did. Well the report me in the credit Bureau for not payment and my score when down. I had to pay them the over $1400 for erase that from my credit history. At the end without the set and without the money. Avoid this scam company because they will sell you something that is damage and you will have to pay more if you wanna fix it. That’s the way to make money for them. Avoid to buy anything from them or you will suffer the consequences. "
"I paid almost $3000.00 for two SOUTHERN MOTION leather Chairs. One arrived with leather damaged and features not as ordered. Disputed Company with my Credit Card and dispute in my favor. Company sent out Leather repair company for "fix" torn leather. Unsatisfactory. I am left with a $1200.00 Scratch and Dent chair. "STUNNING!!!!I purchased it. And it just like the pictures shown, so pretty. The chandelier is very easy to assemble. It took me 1 hour and half to do it. Just follow the manual, it is very easy and clear diagram to follow. The quality is very good too. Crystals are very shinny. I love these chandeliers. Will purchase again. Great quality! I’m obsessed! One leg did come broken and I emailed them and they sent a new one ASAP! There is a million crystals you have to put on yourself so it’s does take a lot of time but thank god there’s a dvd that was SUPER helpful. "

"Really pleased with this couch. The color is just as it appears in the pictures. Assembly was very easy, did it by myself in a total of 20-35 minutes. The only negative thing I have is that the two end pieces arrived on a Thursday, with no indication that another box would follow on Saturday with the middle pieces. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful and provided me with the tracking number for the second box. No visible damage to anything from shipping. Both boxes are heavy enough that you will need two people if you have to move it up any stairs, if not then one person would be able to push the boxes wherever they would need to go. My front door is approximately 35 inches wide and both boxes fit without any problem."
"We have had this recliner for almost a month now. I can’t believe we waited until our daughter was a year old to finally splurge and get it! It is SO comfortable!!!! So much better than our glider rocker that we had. You can lay all the way back, and if you sit all the way up before trying to close the leg part, it closes just fine.
This chair was a big surprise. For the money it s a good quality. It is a massage rocker recliner. has electricity to charge your cell phones and much more."
"This is a stunning chandelier and I’m giving it 5 stars based upon the looks and price. Be warned, it is tedious to put together and not for the inpatient. There are 218 crystals to hang, half of them have to be unwrapped but they did a great job separately packaging them. Lining up the four screws in the flush mount can be difficult. We ditched the washers after several attempts and all four lines up for us finally. Highly recommend the product but have a partner help you put this together to save time. Took about 3 hours to install and assemble with two people working together."
"These pendant lights look fabulous over our granite counter tops. After searching online for the perfect lights, I stumbled across these. I have to admit I almost thought the price was too good to be true and would not be a quality light. They do not look cheap, but quite modern. The cords are covered with a thick plastic making them look like a thick wire. Also, we purchased the designer bulbs that give a vintage appearance to the glass globe making them complete. I love these lights!!"
"I bought an artificial Christmas tree from GFD on ebay. I was given a delivery date and the money was taken out of my PayPal account. Three days later I get a notice from PayPal that my money was going to be returned in the next couple of days. I had noticed that the day after the deal was made that the price had went up on the item that I had bought and there was only a couple left. I thought at the time that I was glad that I had bought it when the item was cheaper. Little did I know that they were going to cancel my order and sell my item to someone else at a higher price. Just want everyone to know that GFD is not a very ethical company and what kind of people you are doing business with. "
"Truly love this chandelier. I have shopped around and prices are astronomical. If I did find one of comparable price, it was plastic and I did not want plastic. I had an electrician install my fixture and he did comment that it had no bracket, but he was able to use the one from the fixture he took down. I did not hang all the little crystals before he hung it, but was able to easily hang them after. One crystal was missing, but the company had sent me an email that said, if you have an issues, please contact us. I did, and within 8 hours on a Sunday night they let me know my missing crystal was shipped. WOW! Totally happy with my purchase and will purchase again from this company."

"I bought a double reclining Lane sofa. It arrive about 2 month after I ordered it. Finally it arrived 14 days ago, yea! That is yea! for 12 days. A couple of days ago I noticed a small hole on the corner of the sofa. On inspection a sharp piece of metal had worked through the fabric. The end of the metal was sticking out though about a 3/4 inch slit in the fabric. I emailed GreatFurnitureDeals immediately, encluded pictures and an explanation of the problem. The sofa had no visible damage when delivered so I accepted it without reservation, and I explained that I felt that this was not damage but it was a manufacturing defect. Guess what - basically- you accepted it, it’s yours. I called and spoke to a customer service representative and she did agree to contact Lane after some discussion and a warning not to expect any satisfactory service from Lane. Sure enough, the Lane repersentive, said it had either, been dropped on the corner, we had mice or we were too fat. So there you go, Don’t buy here, if you expect any kind of meaningful customer care. I now have my beautiful $1000+ sofa with a hole in it, that I have to have repaired at my own expense. Buyer Beware!"
