"Their product is fine; the people I dealt with online were friendly. Problems, however. First, they tend to "be out of" things that they have listed on their website as "in stock" - - which leads to delays in fulfilling your order. Second, they are not vigilant in their shipping. On my first order with Great Alaska Seafood, my box arrived and was missing a pound of Cod fish that I billed for. They suggested I take it as a credit off my next order, but I asked for and got a refund. Then, on my most recent order, quite a number of items were noticeably underweight. That is, they were not the weight I paid for. Five ounces off here, four ounces off there and in the end, on my $400 order, I figure I was shorted about $38 in product. ( I weigh things like meats, seafood, etc. that I order online once I get them. I use a professional scale that I can calibrate. ) I called and was put in touch with a "factory manager" and basically, she would not hear me out, would not accept my report of things being underweight, - - only would explain how it was impossible because of the steps her "factory" takes to ensure it does not happen. My advice: If you like their product, go ahead and order, but expect some difficulty and to receive perhaps less than you actually expect."
