The brake lights on my 2009 RAV4 went out, and the ABS, Traction, and Brake warning lights came on the dashboard. I was told it was a bad brake switch and was guaranteed it would work if it was replaced with a new brake switch. (I did not get a receipt for the so-called new brake switch that was replaced, because they said their system was "down").
I got a call saying the brake switch was "replaced" but the brake lights still won't come on. The service guy told me an "Actuator" (whatever that is) needed to be replaced and that it was going to cost me $2400. I paid $250+ for a brake switch which wasn't the problem, and my brake lights were still not working. I don't know what they did but I have an airbag and passenger seat belt warning light on and constantly blinking.
After doing my own research (YouTube), I found out that it was a "Stop Lamp Control Relay Assembly" that I needed, and it only cost me $145 for it. I replaced the old relay switch with the new relay switch and boom, my brake lights came on, and the ABS, Traction, and Brake warning lights on my dashboard disappeared instantly. As a regular customer at Green's Toyota, I am so mad they lied to me and did not have the patience to properly diagnose or scan the vehicle. I'll be going back so that they can show me the part they bought and the receipt for it or else refund my money.

Shane with customer service had informed me that for some reason two tracking numbers were created and the package was coming that day which it did I was amazed with how fast this was resolved and I will definitely buy from this dealer again.
