"Anyone that has tried to save money on electronics probably went to a disreputable 'grey market' dealer. For the most part, prices on things like Cameras are fixed by the manufacturer. Prices that are lower are "almost" universally grey market products.
For example, if you see a vendor selling a Nikon camera cheap, and go to the list of US authorized Nikon dealers - you likely won't see that vendor on the list.
I researched their business model and I was skeptical. But it's legitimate. I bought an expensive outside television and it was shipped from an authorized dealers several hundred dollars below retail price. I had my order in less than a week.
