When I brought this to their attention I was told that it was my fault and that the pickups weren't bad; meanwhile I had taken them to a professional to get them installed, and he's done wiring jobs for me before. When I pressed for a refund they refused, referring to their return policy. The window is too narrow for anyone to reasonably find defects in a pickup, let along anyone who doesn't know what to look for. Avoid this company at all costs unless there's nothing else. "

"Recently I ordered a case for a 335 style guitar, that was in stock and should have shipped in a reasonable about of time. After 5 days I emailed and asked for a status. They came back with "We're understaffed and in the middle of restocking, and also in the middle of the biggest sale of the year." Okay I thought, I will give them a little time. 9, and going on ten days later it had still not shipped, so I filed with Paypal. They immediately sent my money back. Previously (a few years ago) I ordered a Telecaster body, and it also had the misaligned bridge holes for the string pass through, that another reviewer mentioned. The bridge pickup routing was also aligned with the string holes, so was also off. I had to use a dremel to enlarge the routing at the top, and realign the pass through holes with a drill bit. I finally got it to work, but there was a tiny bit of the routing hole showing through below the bridge plate at the bottom. I had also ordered a butterscotch body, and received an unfinished bare wood body. Not too big a deal since I enjoy a project, but still. Not what I ordered."

I think where some people go wrong is not doing there homework before ordering parts. "late at night i ordered a steel block for my strat, in early morning i realized i forgot to order the tremelo arm. i put it in right away n send message for them to combine the order as it wasnt shipped yet ,so i dont have to pay 2 shipping charges, which amounted to more than the trem arm. they went ahead the next day and mailed each item separately n charged 2 shipping charges. i contacted them and their response was " well sorry we do not combine orders an you have to pay 2 shipping n if u send it back they will charge another shipping charge". not the money just principal, i hav ordered many things from them. so they dont care about their customers, dont buy from these creeps. be forwarned!!!!!"

"Ordered a neck that is going to require serious fretwork and a body that was just a disaster. Bride and stop bar holes placed poorly, crooked neck pocket, paper thin laminate top with the center seam just ridiculously off center. GuitarFetish will allow you to make your own $100 Chinese garbage guitar for only three times the price. Tune-o-matic style bridge has crooked saddles with no notches, paint on the black stop bar is so thin that touching it with screwdriver will show the, "brass," underneath. Doubt it's actually brass. "

"Well, I ordered a guitar from them October 23. It is now November 10 and I still have not received my order, or an update of when it may possibly be shipped.

I have emailed support, which really had been no help whatsoever. "Sam" was the person that responded to each time I emailed about the order. Unfortunately, Sam did not make any attempt to answer my question's each time I tried to contact Guitar Fetish, even though I was asking different questions each time. In fact, all Sam did was copy and paste his response... which, in my opinion is just laziness.

Anyway, they won't give me a straight answer for when they will actually fulfill my order. They are ridiculously slow fulfilling this order at least, and they haven't been particularly speedy with any of my previous orders either."

"I purchased a new P-bass body from Guitar Fetish in hopes of building a nice new bass from a pair of basses I had that were non-functional. The Fender pickguard doesn't fit, the neck doesn't fit. and it came with no holes drilled for a bridge. With dozens of Fender aftermarket body manufacturers, you would think they could get it right, or even close..... AVOID!!!"
