"OK, but I wonder if these strings have been stored properly. I have Grafftec saddles on my Les Paul and hardly ever break strings. But two high-Es have broken so far in 2 days time, one of them seemed to just unwind from its end. Looking closer, at least one of these strings had speckled discoloration right out of the wrapper. Not going to quibble over a couple of strings, but this is very unusual and makes me skeptical."
