"My husband and I purchased the Tri-tronics Classic 70 G3 Exp along with a 2nd collar and receiver. We have one large lab (5 years old) and one smaller (40 lbs) mixed breed that's about 1 year. We live on 20 acres and want to try to keep the dogs from wandering too far because of the livestock neighboring our land. We have no intention of using the dogs to hunt. We have had the smaller dog for about 4 months and haven't spent a lot of time training him outside because of the cold weather in Montana so I was surprised at how quickly he seems to have picked up the training. I followed what the video said to do (I do wish the video was a bit longer and had more information) for a few days but what we really want is to have the dogs come home when they hear the tone and so far that's really working. Both dogs seem to have picked up on the training very quickly and I'm happy with the product. I also hope to use it while we are camping this summer."
