"I saw one really negative review about Gun Envy before I ordered from them, but I just assumed it wasn't a real review, or that it came from someone who was hard to please. So I looked over their website really carefully before I ordered my $600 handgun. Their website says their firearms are in stock, ready to ship, and they will ship within 24 hours with an e-mailed tracking number. Sounds good, so I ordered. How bad can it be? After about a week, I emailed them and inquired about my order. They never replied to the e-mail. Just as if it was never sent. So finally I call. The guy on the phone couldn't be bothered to look up my order, but I'm persistent so finally he asks what gun I ordered. I tell him, and he says that gun had been out of stock for weeks and he had no idea when it would ship. Hmm...that's not what the website said. So I asked if I would receive a notice or tracking number when the gun shipped. He says no, we don't do that. He refuses to look up my order and tells me "just be patient". This isn't looking so great.
So I wait another week and check their website, which shows my order as "processing". It still hasn't shipped. So I call them and get a different guy, who is rude and also refuses to check on my order. But this time he says it has shipped, even though his website says it has not. So I asked him how he could possibly know that since he didn't know my name, location, or order number. What I got back was "the guy who handles that isn't here". Basically he was just trying to rush me off the phone again while never looking at my order. So I told him that I wanted to cancel my order. At that point he starts yelling and cursing and hangs up the phone. So that's what you get from Gun Envy. They take orders for items they later admit they don't have, items they don't even know if they can get. Then they ignore emails. Then if you press them to find out what's going on with your order, they curse you and hang up the phone. I'm going to have to go to my credit card issuer to try to get a refund from these idiots. I wouldn't buy a candy bar from these people. The bad reviews you see for Gun Envy are real. "
"You would not believe the treatment I received today, after confronting this business with a documented overage on my visa credit card. They actually yelled in my face with repeated "F" words... Do yourself a favor and stay away from this business, I'm sure you will regret it otherwise."

They also have gunsmithing available, and they know their stuff. I had a revolver that I was going to part with, but they "tuned up" the action, so that now it's one of my favorite guns. "This is great gun shop, they do $20 transfers while another shop was charging an outrageous $75. They have excellent prices on magazines there, where other are jacking up the prices. "Can't speak highly enough about GunEnvy. Prices are always competitive with Buds', but the service is what really sets them apart as a notch above other dealers. Owners are friendly, reliable, and know their stuff. I've bought a few guns from their site, they've always arrived on time in the expected condition. Use them for most of my transfers - they're not the closest FFL to me, but it's well worth the extra drive for the friendly service and CHEAP transfer fees.
