Port In Process has taken 3 weeks and counting, Customer Service Absent

"I bought service from H2O before 3 weeks and I am still waiting to get the port-in process to be complete. My past service provider has cleared everything but H2O has no idea what they are doing. They have made only false promises so far. Also, they are not doing anything on their own...I have called them half a dozen times and each time they say that we have to wait. I am still not receiving incoming calls. I am only able to do outgoing calls, and able to use data. This is horrible. AT&T was bad....this is worse.

"I had purchased the $30 plan which gives unlimited USA calls, unlimited International calls for 50 countries.

I had to transfer a mobile number from the current carrier and I had activated the SIM with the plan online only to find out later that I had to request the number porting while activating the SIM.

I got to H2O customer service and they really helped me to get the number porting and also helped me transfer the plan from the other number to the ported number.

They spent a lot of time in helping me sort out the issue.

The mobile service is good and their customer service is excellent.

"I activated my phone service on 2015-Apr-24 with a $30 monthly plan. Everything seemed to be working correctly. The H2O Wireless account status showed a plan expiration date of May-24. But a few hours later (that evening), my phone showed a message "SIM registration failed".

The next day, Apr-25, I contacted H2O Wireless customer support via chat. After explaining the problem, I was told that it would be fixed in an hour. Two hours later, it was not fixed. I checked my H2O Wireless account status. It showed that my plan was expiring that same day, Apr-25, one day after I activated a $30 monthly plan.

I contacted H2O Wireless customer support a second time, via chat. After again explaining the problem, I was told that it could not be fixed until Monday, Apr-27. They agreed to have it fixed by Apr-27 11am ET.

Two days later, Apr-27, at 11am ET, the problem was still not fixed, so I contacted customer support a third time, via chat. After again explaining the problem, I was told that I needed a new SIM card. I was given a link for a free SIM card from the website. I proceeded to order the new SIM card, but was asked for credit card information. I was to be charged $5 for shipping the "free" SIM card. The account status still showed that my plan had already expired on Apr-25 (one day after activating the 30-day plan).

My now I do not trust customer support at all, and consider it foolish to spend more money in hopes of fixing the problem. I asked about getting a new SIM card from a local H2O Wireless store, but am told that the free offer will not be available at a store. Then I requested a refund for my original plan purchase, but this was rejected because I had service for a while on the plan (about 12 hours, maybe less, out of a 30-day plan). Finally I requested that someone call me regarding a refund, and was told that someone would call at 5pm ET.

Not surprisingly, I did not receive a call. I contacted customer support again, via chat, and again requested a callback. I was told that I would receive a call in 10-15 minutes. I did not receive a call this second time either.

UPDATE: After writing this review, referencing this review, and requesting a supervisor call-back, I received a call from a supervisor. He offered to fix the problem or issue a refund. I asked for a refund and received it some time later.
