"Received a call from HDHUT, on a Sunday, to confirm an order placed the day before. At that time I was told that the model Samsung Series 6 PN58B650S1 58 In. Plasma was an older series and carried a 90 day warranty. I followed up with a call to Samsung, they informed about their series 6. It turns out that HDHUT is pushing old units which are refurbished and passing them off as upgraded units by a separate vendor called (Faroudja. I requested a refund and so far they have canceled my order. Must wait 3 to days for credit to appear on account. Keep away from this company.
P.S They called back begging me to take down this review and offered a HDMI cable as a consolation."

They tried to upsell me to a different Samsung LED HDTV, and when I refused I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for my tv to come from the manufacturer, all the while they listed it as "in stock" on their website. They lied over and over to me about shipping it in a few days and doing it "next day" free of charge. BEWARE! They advertise low prices but they have dubious/questionable integrity. "

Got a call back the next day from a salesman who claimed that this model was discontinued and that he had another better model the UN55B8000XF that lists for $3799 but he would sell it to me for $2799. I called Samsung direct and both TV’s are identical. 55B8000 is the Model and UN55B8000XF is the Model Code and it was not in fact discontinued. Called next day to cancel order, didn’t wait for them to scam me with a refurbished unit, HIP charges (Handling, Insurance and Processing) or shipping. This company is BAD NEWS!!!!!!!!!"

I had searched on NexTag for a Samsung LN52B750 LCD TV for my daughter and found HDHUT.com with the best price and free shipping. I relied on the good reviews here to recommend it to her.
She placed an order online, then they called to try to upgrade the TV to a "better" one for $350 more, tried to pressure her to upgrade the shipping, stating the free shipping was only on big trucks meant for businesses buying many TVs, then offered to add an HDMI cable worth $149 if she upgraded the shipping, and when that all failed he told her that there was going to be over $300 in handling and insurance fees. So much for their free shipping! Needless to say she canceled the order."
"I received my 65 inch tv in great shape and the deliver man was wonderful. I am not impressed with the misleading web page that offers free shipping. Well the shipping was not free and there was a service charge of over $500. I did not receive the free screen cleaning kit they offered and they sold me a HDMI cord for $100 that I could have purchased somewhere else for $10. I will probably never purchase from HDHUT again.
