"I purchased some downhill Mountain Biking pants directly from their website using my NetSpend Prepaid MasterCard. 2 days later I receive an email from Sarah Brown saying they do not have the item. I replied back asking them to confirm they had credited my card because I saw it had been charged. Sarah replied back saying the order was cancelled and I would not be charged. I replied back asking confirmation that they will be crediting my card not just cancelling. Sarah replied back that my card had not been charged and "if i had a temporary authorization hold", it would be released by my card provider. What is strange is that she said "if I had a temporary authorization hold"... shouldn't she know that since they would be the one's putting the hold on it. I contacted Netspend and they confirmed my card was charged and it was not a hold. I emailed Sarah again telling her to escalate this information because I believed she was not aware my card had been charged. She replied back that she researched everything and that it must have been a hold and it had been released and it is up to my card provider to give me the money back. It has been 3 weeks now and I still don't have my money back. I filed a dispute but now I won't have my money for another 30 days.... I'm pretty sure HDO Sports is going under and they are using my money to stay a float .... they get to use my money for 60 days interest free before it gets returned to me. DEFINITELY don't buy anything from them as they are thieves and unwilling to resolve this after multiple email communications."
"Don't buy from their website. They don't provide reviews/ratings on shoes. I bought an "HDO exclusive" of an Inov-8 shoe and it was too small. I then noticed on Amazon that approximately 38% of reviewers say the shoe is too small for its stated size. Despite this undisclosed poor rating on fit, HDO is still requiring me to pay for return shipping of a product I wouldn't have bought if I'd known."
"Ordered through Amazon, it had been about a week, no items. Called and called customer service, no answer. Luckily Amazon for ahold of them through email. My order had been on back order. Would be out within the next week when they arrived. Ok. Next week, oh the manufacturer forgot to send your order, should be here 'rush' within the next week. "I buy and resell Oakley glasses and accessories in the UK and Japan. I have used HDO Sport on more than one occasion to fill some of the odd orders that I couldn't find from the manufacturer or anywhere else. I choose to go through them rather than Ebay becasue I know that the Oakley line is 100% authentic and reasonably priced. Even if the price is a couple bucks more than another vendor it is worth the piece of mind, especially will all the counterfeits out there. I have yet to run into an issue with their service and can even say that I have been impressed at times with their willingness to work with me on prices for bulk items or international shipping costs.

"I ordered a North Face Jacket, with matching gloves and ear gear for my daughter's Christmas present. Later I received an e-mail from Sarah Brown, explaining that the Jacket was delayed in shipping because of the heavy demand for North Face, they simply couldn't sync the website fast enough to prevent my order; also that she was working directly with North Face to get the Jacket as soon as possible. The suggested shipping date was in between 12/20 and 12/22 and Ms. Brown was going see that it shipped immediately once they received. I'd like to point out here I genuinely believe she was concerned. Well, long story short, the Jacket was received, by me on the 19th, above and beyond the original estimate. The biggest point I'd like to make here is that an e-mail was sent by an actual human being, promptly explaining the situation and giving absolute assurance that everything that could be done was being done. And it was done! This is Customer Service. Thank you Ms. Brown and the HDO Sport Team!"
"Apparently when you buy from HDO sports you dont buy SHOES, you buy VERY EXPENSIVE BOXES!
I will start by saying that this is my very first negative review. I got the shoes two weeks after ordering them. When I got them, the packaging consisted of a thin layer of plastic covering a dented shoe box. Usually, I dont really care about the condition of the box, but apparently this is an issue for the seller. I returned the shoes the same day as they were too small. I had to pay $17 to mail them back. I sent them in the original box, and kept all original tags.The shoes were intact and brand new. I wore them for 5 minutes while trying them on. I received an email from the seller two days later to inform me that my money could not be reached-imbursed at all because the box was in poor condition and this made the shoes “unfit for resell and virtually worthless.” I repeat that the shoes were intact and brand new, but the box was not.
The manager Sarah Brown exclaimed that it was HER decision not to reimburse me, and that she couldnt afford to lose money when a customer ";tried the shoes and sent them back."; She informed me that the manufacturer did not provide them with additional boxes.
Somehow, Sarah Brown and HDO sports thinks It is OK to take both the shoes and the customers money because of a BOX. I did not buy a box , I bought a pair of SHOES! They think is not ok for them to lose money, but it is perfectly acceptable to take the hard earned money from a customer who bought shoes in good faith and returned them the same day!
In the end, I submitted a claim through amazon, and they were SO KIND AND EFFICIENT. They reimbursed me for the mailing costs, and HDO had to reimburse me. However, they still kept 15% of the cost of my shoes for "restocking fee."
Dear reader, If you made it this far, in which world is it OK to charge a customer for a damaged box? I think their business practices are immoral and downright criminal.
Update: I posted a review on their Facebook page and HDO replied calling me "dishonest and deceptive."; Then I found this page and realized that many other people were having the same issues as me. This is the WORST seller on the Internet! Keep your money and go somewhere else! "
