"Ordered a Yamaha RX-V665 receiver from these folks through Amazon.com. Received promptly. Defective from moment 1. Not their fault, they only sold the item. Tried calling and emailing in an effort to return the item. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returns emails. Only after I file a claim with Amazon do the tell me they'll refund me if I ship them the item ($30 to me) and after they test it. Ship the item to them and UPS shows it as undeliverable because they have moved! Nice. Still waiting. Hopefully they do me right. Time will tell. If not, dispute with credit card company will result. What a hassle. "

In my previous review I stated that they were unresponsive. After 2 weeksof trying, I finally made contact. I was told my order was going to be shipped in 2 days. When it didn't, I called and was told the same thing. After 3 weeks of this,I cancelled the order. I sent an email to their customer service letting them know what went on. I got a response from customer service stating that they had read my review of their company and even though the units had come in before I cancelled my order, they placed my order "at the bottom of the list". They showed me who's boss! What a company. "
"I ordered the Danby DTT420 on 7/20/2009, I received my email confirmation and then 5 minutes later received a cancelation email but no explaination as to why. So I called the number on their site, they said it was out of stock. I was upset because I was using a MC gift card and they had already placed a hold on for the amount of purchase rather than keeping their website up-to-date. The person over the phone told me it would drop off in a few hours, but the next day it was still there. So I emailed several times, but received no reponse, so I called again, and was told it will be off in 2 days. I waited till the next day, still the hold was there. I emailed every email address on their site and received the following RUDE response:
"The authorization is an automatic release that happens within 2-3 days after the transaction.
we do not respond to multiple emails from the same person for the same reason. You called us and some told you this over the phone."
It had been three days when I received this, but the hold was still there. How does this company stay in business? I think they are a scam and do not have any products in stock. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!"
"Made original order on 5/16/09, they called be back on 5/26/09 and advised that the model I wanted was on large back order and asked if I wanted to change to YHT-791 Yamaha Home Theater. I agreed and authorized the increase to my credit card. I called on 5/28/09 to check status and was advised that I would receive a tracking number by the end of the day. On 6/01/09 I have still not received any status of my order and my phone calls are not being returned. I would not recommend this site to anyone. "

I ordered a receiver from one store, and these speakers from hdtvdreams at the same time, I received the receiver 4 days ago, and just today got an email from hdtvdreams saying that they have even received my payment. I used paypal, and there was no hold up on the funds. on their site it says that that ship the same day the order is placed when possible. I still have not received even a tracking number, or conformation of shipments and it is a full week later. I would not suggest using this merchant.
UPDATE:
I received a response back from them, however they did not apologise, or even admit there was a problem, they just said the order was placed. then a day later, I received notice that they had shipped the item. So their website says they they make every effort to ship the day the order was placed, however they didn't even acknowledge my order till a week later, and then still didn't ship it the same day."
"I ordered a Broan stove hood on February 16 from this seller because of their competetive price. After one week I had heard no word so I called the number on the website and go no answer. I then called the number listed on paypal and was hung up on. I immediately called back to have my call answered. I was told that my order was currently being shipped to them and then would be shipped to me by March 4 or 5. I waited and received no confirmation email. Neither did I receive my order. I began calling both phone numbers again and again I was hung up on or sent to voicemail. I left a detailed message on the 800 number and never heard a reply. Thankfully Paypal cancels the transaction after 30 days. Now I can order the final piece I've been waiting on for my kitchen remodel. Thanks alot for absolutely nothing but a pain.
Edit: in response to this company's reply: I only had one episode of contact with this company. On this phone call I was told that everything was on order and was expected to be shipped in a few days. I never had any other correspondence with them except for an unanswered voicemail that I left inquiring again about my order. I was never informed that the color was discontinued nor was I given the option to cancel my order. My review is completely true. Their customer service was completely unresponsive. "

"I placed an order for Klipsch speakers on line. I even called to confirm the order. Sometimes they don't bother to answer the telephone. They said my order would ship out right away. On the 7th of January they sent an e-mail cancelling my order. It seems like they take orders and then try to get the merchandise. "

"I guess I was 'dreaming' when I thought I was getting an HDTV from this place. No confirmation e-mail. I call in, and the 'customer service' guy tries to sell me a bunch of accessories. I decline, and days later, I get an e-mail cancelling my order. You can still order the model on the Web site -- for $180 more. Yup, it's one of *those* sites."
