"Believable virtual reality with the "theater" look

This Grey 1.8 looks like a high rez window in my living room!!!!! After years of selling, looking at and admiring Stewart, Da-Lite, Draper and others,......I'm so glad I waited until now to purchase a screen, because I'm picky as hell when it comes to audio & video and this screen is just amazing!!!!! The colors leap off the screen in HD on 480p material as well as 1080p and I couldn't be happier, purchase with confidence, by the way I almost got the super tension series screen, but my budget called for a more practical screen, but after seeing this, you'll wonder how the other companies got away with charging so much for their screens, the only true drawback of this screen is it doesn't have a trigger, but who really cares???!!!!! It comes with an IR & and RF remote!!!!!! Yes both!!!!!

"I recd a projector screen from HT Depot back in April and did not install it until 2 days ago due to my house construction not being completed until then. When we installed it, we lowered the screen to make sure it worked and it went down, very rough movements and then never worked again. I called HT Depot the next day and never got a call back. Last night (2 days after installation) the screen fell off the roller. I call HT Depot again today and spoke with Alex, who says he is the manager and there is no one above him. He would not refer me to the owner and denied being the owner. Summarizing our conversation, it was under warranty but I had to pay the return shipping. Since I already paid to receive a product that most normal people would expect to arrive in working order, I argued that his company should cover the cost. I was refused. I was also accused of being the one to damage the unit. I was offered a minimal discount towards the purchase of another product. Like that would ever happen. Since I am stuck with a product that doesn't work, I am paying the money to ship it back and have it repaired only for lack of any other option. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I am actively looking to find out the name of the owner to write about my thoughts on his company."

"Ordering from htdepot.com was one of the most miserable mistakes I have ever made.

I found the screen I wanted on their website for a reasonable price, but I needed the screen in a week's time and was concerned about it getting from VA to CA in time. I called them and spoke with Alex on Friday, February 6 and asked, if I ordered the screen that day, when it would ship and when I could expect to receive it. Alex told me that it was in stock and would ship on Monday, February 9, and that I would receive it no later than Friday, February 13. I told him that I would call back within an hour to place the order. When I called back at approximately 2PM (PDT), I spoke with William. I confirmed with him again that the screen would ship on Monday and that I would receive it by Friday, because I would not place the order if it could not be delivered prior to Sunday, February 15. William assured me that it would ship on Monday and I would receive it in time. He even put me on hold to confirm that it was in stock and would ship on Monday.

Lo and behold I received a confirmation that the screen had shipped on Tuesday, February 10, along with a tracking number with UPS Freight. I tried tracking it immediately, but the shipment was still so fresh that it was not yet in the UPS system. I tracked the order today and found that the estimated delivery is Monday, February 16! Exactly one day too late to be of any use to me.

I called and spoke with William who confirmed the tracking info and said there was nothing he could do to help me. I asked him to let me speak with someone who could and again spoke with Alex. I explained the situation again to Alex and again heard that delivery times were not guaranteed, there was nothing he could do, blablabla. I reminded him that I had spoken with both him and William on Friday and reminded him of the assurances I had been given by both of them that I would receive the screen on time. Reminded him that I had not been told that delivery times were not guaranteed. Not suprisingly, Alex claims not to recall the conversation or his promises and assurances. He said he would call the frieght company and see what he could do, but that he still could make no assurances I will receive it in time. I asked, if he could get the delivery expedited for an additional cost, would they pay it? He said no, absolutely not. I asked if he would reimburse the cost for us to rent a screen? He actually laughed. Again he said he would call the freight company and see what he could do - tomorrow. Because, of course, it was quitting time for him.

Unable to trust a single word he said, I called UPS Freight myself and arranged for expedited delivery on Saturday, 2/14 (which means I'll have to come in to work on my day off, Valentine's Day, to receive the delivery), at an additional cost of $318.

So now the overall cost of this transaction is no bargain at all - I could have gotten a bigger screen from a reputable, trustworthy dealer for what I'm paying for this so-called reasonably priced screen from - I think - two guys working out of a garage. Alex seems unconcerned by my assurances that I will report his and his company's negligence in every possible venue and forum. But, unlike Alex, I don't make assurances unless I'm prepared to back them up.

"This was a great company to work with. The screen I ordered was cheap price wise, but a fairly decent screen. I received the screen within a few days of placing the order and it was in great condition due to the packing job done. I would recommend this company to anyone."
