"I have been a customer of Hagen Hosting for about 10 years. Service was never great but I managed to survive until this year when things went badly wrong. They are completely nonresponsive to tickets on the control panel and email to their service email address bounce back. I can’t even get someone online to cancel my account. The only communication I get from them is a request for me to subscribe for another year. I would not recommend anyone under any circumstances to use Hagen Hosting."
"Extremely horrible customer service. I found that their e-classified looks nice and cheap. So, I decided to subscribe to the service. It took them almost 5 days to create the account. Then, after testing the e-classified, I found out that there was an error message every time that I tried to post an ad. So, I opened a support ticket, which stays open for more than 5 days with no follow up from any tech. There is no one to call, no phone number, no help for days.

They use a support tag system and get back to you when they feel like it and it usually requires several tickets to get a problem resolved which takes several days. I am waiting currently 6 days to have a question answered about something vital to my website and business and there is no one that I can call. Except the better business bureau."
"While at first it seemed great, affordable and easy, once we purchased their classified ads system we soon learned how deficient their entire business is. First, there are no phone numbers to call for support.
Their technology is dinosaur as far as the graphics and design go. They look completely 90's in their layouts -- very outdated. This is not an attractive quality when you are competing online with other web sites that look new, fresh and modern.
The system that we purchased was not as flexible as we would have hoped -- even though it was the more expensive PREMIUM version, but we were roped in for at least a year so we had to make it work. We were promised upgrades to our version that NEVER came.
And the support is terrible. It's a message posting type system which tells me there are only about 4 people working at the "company" (if that)
And to make matters even worse, we thought we had followed all the procedures correctly to cancel our account (they do not make it easy and there are several confusing HOOPS to jump through) and they suddenly charge us a $60 hosting fee out of the blue. When we pointed out the mistake, they REFUSED to give any sort of refund. They are horrible. Do not use this company. They are programmers....not business people. They have no talent for business or design. We spent thousands with this company and they seemed to enjoy sticking us for the last $60 bucks. I'm so disappointed. What could have ended as a decent relationship had to end with them being corporate jerks, hiding behind their fine print. Do not use this company.

"Not a good hosting service. Here's my story.
I used to own the domain "www.mddeff.com" through freewebs.com (and thus godaddy.com). But since i wanted to upgrade my hosting service, I just let the domain expire, hoping to reregister it some where else, right? Wrong. When I punched in mddeff.com in the online order form for Hagen hosting, it said the domain was "avaiable". Apparently, AFTER paying the $40 dollars in registration fees, the domain was not being used but locked by godaddy. So I said, "ok, no problem, just choose a different domain name." well hagen hosting wanted to charge me another 40 dollars to do this, (they would have to have an employee manualy register it). They were complaining about "business overhead, administration costs, etc." It just wasen't worth it, I cut my 50 dollar loss and went to HostGator for $15 for first month (included registration fee) and than 9.95 every month there after for double the storage and bandwidth."
