"Buyer Beware!

I ordered a pair of Ugg Classic Cardy boots from this site. They were $20 below retail (which should have been my first clue). When I received them (in an Ugg box, but without any of the other usual Ugg packaging) the boots had a distinctive odor (which I have since learned is a clue that you have fakes). The boots (supposedly size 9) were way too small. I couldn't even get my foot into them. I requested an exchange for a size 10 and they were very accommodating. When the exchange arrived, they were bigger, but still not as roomy as my other size 10 Uggs. Additionally, they did not come in an Ugg box, merely crammed into a post office mailing package. I looked at them carefully (as the color of the yarn looked different from the website and other websites I had researched) but didn't realize until I went to the Ugg store in NYC that I had purchased fakes. They are very good fakes, but I have since purchased REAL Uggs and can spot the differences. The biggest difference you will notice is the size. The fakes are much smaller. Also, the fakes do not have the real sheepskin lining that the real Uggs have. So, spend the extra $20 and get the real ones. Additionally, the yarn color is not as consistent as the real Uggs. If you want good, VERY overpriced fakes, this is the site for you!"
