"Received a gift from the local store for Xmas. I have the receipt and went to the store for an exchange. They didn't have what I needed. They will give me store credit or will only refund the credit card it was purchased with. It was a GIFT! I don't have the credit card. I have to get the gifter back involved. What good is store credit when they don't have what I need? The gifter gets the money back when the purchase was for a someone else? I don't understand this return policy. A receipt if not good enough? Very frustrating. So, I have to involve other people make trips back to the store...I live about 10 miles away, and then ask the gifter for the money when it's credited back to their card? What are they thinking?"
