"I received The Warmest Heated Steering Wheel Cover, and was pleasantly surprised with it.
Pros: It looks good on my steering wheel with a tight fit (I have a 200 Honda Civic with a steering wheel of 15.5 inch diameter, and the steering wheel fits tightly- in order to put the cover on, I turned it on for 5 minutes until it became quite warm, then it took 2 people to put it on, which took 2 minutes). The cover warms up within minutes almost all over and the battery has 5 different levels of heat for the cover. The battery is big and bulky, and only 4400mAh, which means it lasts about 30-45 min tops, however it attaches using the velcro cover provided on the back of the steering wheel (I wrap it around one of the spokes of the steering wheel as opposed to the top as pictured, because I do not want it to obscure the dash), and it does not hit any of the control to turn them on, such as windshield wipers etc.
Cons: The wires can be felt below the steering wheel cover, but it does not take from the cover's usefulness or appearance. The heated areas on the steering wheel are uneven, with one full edge of the steering wheel having no heat and the other one is fully heated, and the part where the cover is sewn together lack heat. Since the battery only lasts about 30-45 min tops, I always have to bring the battery in with me and charge it between uses (cold and heat decreases battery life, and in Canada we experience temperature extremes therefore that's another reason I need to bring it inside between uses). I will remove the entire steering wheel during the summer when temperatures reach high extremes inside the car. The button to turn on the battery and the light that indicates it is on are obstructed by the velcro package that holds the battery on the steering wheel- I would like to have access and view that without having to open the velcro package which is quite cumbersome.
This was the only heated steering wheel cover I could find at this time (Jan 2018) and I have been looking for months. All others I have found online are out of stock (whether they are cable or battery operated). This was also the most pricey option, lower only to the option of buying a car that comes with its own heated steering wheel. Overall I am pleased although it is far from perfect."
