"Needed a pair of speakers for a 15" MacBook Pro - an internet search turned up Hard Disk Direct. Although I thought the price seemed high ($109.99 - on sale), I bought the speakers. Got 2 speakers in a clear plastic bag tossed in a box. The site claims the manufacturer is Apple - I seriously doubt that. I was in a hurry and not paying attention (my bad) - these speakers are "refurbished". Refurbished or not - they look like cheap knock offs. Print and markings on the speakers are blurry and smeared. I needed speakers for a second MacBook Pro - this time I checked ebay - got a set of very nice looking speakers individually packed in anti-static envelopes and placed in protective foam for $50.00 plus shipping. The speakers from ebay actually look like they could be Apple (as the seller claims)."
