"out of the over 100 million shoppers who visit Reseller every month i really recommend thr hard drive Next inc for you. Its gentile and phenomenal
"
"These guys are a joke. Two months now and no shipment. Of course, you cannot call them because you only get voicemail. You can chat with them but they will only tell you what you want to hear - shipping out tomorrow via next day air. DO NOT BOTHER."
"Update: 11/12/2010
I have reason to believe that Hard Drive Next Inc. is selling credit card/mailing address information to other companies, which include but may not be limited to "Grameen Wireless" (grameenwireless.com)
Both companies are registered merchants in New York. I recently received a fraudulent charge on my credit card from "GRAMEEN WIRELESS ***-***-**** NY" first for an amount over $8000, and when that charge failed to authorize due to not having enough credit on my card, they reran the charge for a bit over $3000, which actually went through. I have never dealt with or heard of Grameen Wireless before, so they had to have gotten my credit card and mailing address information from somewhere. The only possible answer is that they got it from Hard Drive Next Inc., as I had also recently been frauded by them as well.
I recently spoke with my Credit Card company, which set up a 3 way call with Grameen Wireless to discuss where the charge came from. The person who answered the phone on behalf of Grameen Wireless sounded foreign... like he was from India or something like that. He answered the phone like "Hello?" which is a big give away that this is not a real company. The Grameen guy asked for my name and phone number to check on the situation. I gave him my name, but not my phone number! The guy at Grameen then said that we'd have to call back in 30 minutes because he was busy, and then promptly hung up... So my credit card company representative, who was listening to the 3 way conversation, immediately disputed the credit card charge for me.
I would not contact either company on your personal phone number. They will most likely sell your number to somebody if they get it. Have your credit card company contact them and set up a 3 way call. And do not give them any information if you can help it... even if they ask.

Confirmed that this company is a scam. I made my purchase on 8/30/2010. I received an email from ****@**** with my order number the same day. I also received an email from Mohammed alam (****@****) that contained the same order details on the same day. The email claimed I would be sent an email when the product ships.
Some days after I made my purchase, I visited their web site to see a message on it saying "We are closed from September 7, 2010 to September 20, 2010 for company reorganize, system management and some other unavoidable reason as well as technical problems. We will be available again from September 21, 2010. We apologies for this inconvenience."
I sent them 2 emails asking for a status update on 9/9/2010 and have gotten no response. I tried calling them on 9/10/2010 at 4:15pm CST and got an answering machine.
I just got off the phone with my credit card company and am having them reverse the charge.
Update:
I was able to contact their "Live Online Support" on 9/14/2010, as there was an image on their web site that said "Live Support Online". Here's the transcript of the chat conversation:
You are now chatting with HDNThomas (General)
Me: hello
HDNThomas: Hi
Me: I have a question about a purchase I made.
HDNThomas: sorry sir
HDNThomas: now i am in travel
Me: ok so in otherwords, "Live Support" is not online
Me: Well what I wanted to ask is for you to cancel my order that I placed. I have already contacted my Credit Card company to reverse the charge on my purchase.
HDNThomas: yes
HDNThomas: you can
HDNThomas: send a RMA
Me: No, you don't understand. My Credit Card company will be canceling the charge. You will not be getting my money. So you may as well cancel the order. I will not be sending you an RMA.
Me: Invoice # 400000519
Me: Do you need any more information from me?
HDNThomas: sir
Me: yes?
HDNThomas: please send a mail to ****@****
Me: I have already done that. I sent a request for a status update on 9/9/2010
Me: Yet I have not received a reply.
HDNThomas: dont worry sir
Me: Don't worry about what?
HDNThomas: you will receive our reply soon
Me: Can you tell me the date that I should expect a reply?
HDNThomas: 21th September
Me: So it takes 12 days for your company to reply to an email?
HDNThomas: our office is closed till 20th September
Me: Which is why I would like to cancel my order. I can't wait that long for a product I ordered on 8/30/2010.
Me: Besides, an "RMA" stands for "Return Merchandise Authorization". How can I return merchandise that I have not even received?
Me: Is there any other information you need from me to cancel my order?
HDNThomas: no sir
Me: Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
HDNThomas: Have a nice day"
"THIS IS a SCAM operation. They take your money and never ship anything to you! All you get is a voice recording. I left 8 messages that go nowhere. In fact, there is no physical location for their address in Brooklyn. They might be in Baghdad! You will have to stop payment with your credit card company! This company is run by THIEVES! Don't even think of dealing with them!"
"DONT BUY HERE! I bought a SAS HD and they never sent it to me, ever. Just check their Address "2 Avenue C"... where is that !? Or try to call them at their "24x7 ***-***-****" support... no one ever answers..."
"Very Fishy company still my part is not here"
"Before you even think about shopping with this company...DON'T. Their customer service is hit or miss and when you do finally get ahold of them you product will most likely be "out of warranty".
With the confirmation email you get this blurb
" If you have any questions about your order please contact us at ****@**** or call us at ***-***-**** Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm EST"
I tested the memory in 3 computers upon receipt and all reported no memory detected. I immediately fired of an email to the address listed above. The next day I call the supplied number and got an answering machine. I left a number where I could be reached and waited. Two months later, I noticed the memory sitting by my monitor and fired off another email. The next day I recieved an email back informing me that I needed to fill out and RMA which I did and (amazingly) I recieved an email the next day saying I was out of warrany and there was nothing they could.... Thank You"
"I bought a stick of memory (1GB) for a HP. Got when I was supposed to. Plugged it in, Computer beeps 3 times and won't boot up. Called and the person (from another country) told me to go online and request a RMA. I have asked 3 times now and still no answer. They SUCK. Do not use them"
"I think harddrivenext is a fraud company because they dont have any stock. they are just middleman. so will anyone buy from a middleman? they are not pros...i will never believe this company...they are not even from USA..dont know from where they operate..from IRAQ, i guess...i recommend not to shop from them. They are giving the lowest price but several times they are not present in the market....they are some college boys doing this things. I will not trust them."
"Advertised item not in stock... though they were fairly quick to let me know this AFTER placing the order. "
"I placed an Order for 2 pcs of part #07N9418 and 1 pc of part #07N9418 at the eleventh our of the day. I found very good service and prompt shipment from them. I will buy from them regularly. All the best Harddrivenext."
