"Purchased laptop,on ebay that was completely inoperable. Brought to a local computer store, and he charged me but then gave up and said there was too much wrong to fix. Tried e-mailing them numerous times ,and they never got back to me.
Very DISSATISFIED I WANT my Money back"
"No telephone number available. Shipped defective equipment. 3 weeks and no resolution. Numerous e-mails sent. 3-5 day response on e-mails. This company is HORRIBLE."
"Will not buy from this company again. No technical support whatsoever. Will not give information as simple as a tracking number. Will not respond to e-mails. Overcharges for fake expedited shipping and sends ground or less."
"Excellent auction prices, I ordered 4-47 gig scsi drives for a RAID array i was building, they shipped fine and arrived in a timely matter however one of the drives was the wrong size. it was a 23 gig. This im sure wasa total oversite on their part and I'm sure it was very easy to do, the drives are identicle in appearence and size the only difference is 1 digit in the model #. I wrote back to Hard Drive Outlet to see if the problem could be corrected and it took nearly 2 weeks for a responce. The replacement drive was shipped today 3/22/03 and im eagerly awaiting its arrival. The drive that was shipped by mistake is mine to keep free of charge for the inconvienience. I guess you cant beat that! However the email for the shipment of my replacement drive came about at the same time as my submission to resellerratings.com for the business (Hard Drive Outlet). I dont know if this had anything to do with the service I received, I hope not. In closing I would say I had a favorable experience with this company but as far as them correcting any problems, I will stay neutral and see who else posts about them.

UPDATE: The drive arrived today, March 28th, I immediatly put into my machine to add to my RAID array and the drive arrived defective. To make matters worse i am moving out of state this weekend and I know I'll never see the drive again if I start the RMA now. The company policy says 3 days for returns. Bummer :(
