HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

"Placed an order May 10th. NEVER received. I contacted them and was told I should see it Wednesday or Thursday. NEVER received. Called again and was told we should receive it Tuesday. I asked for a tracking #. They sent the order USPS when we requested UPS. Shipment was returned to sender. I called and was told they couldn't do anything until the package was received on their end. No help in trying to find or replace the order. Last the tracking shows, is it arrived at the Ft. Lauderdale Post Office. I filed a missing mail report with the post office who says the SENDER needs to contact them. Now, no one answers the phone at this so-called business and they do not reply to any emails. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM....IT IS A SCAM COMPANY!!!!"

The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

"We ordered 2 lifts on January 3, was told they were in stock, delivery should have been no later than 12 days. No Delivery. Finally got through to them, she said oh looks like it just shipped out from another warehouse with no tracking available yet. WHY? Tried calling several times to get tracking, they can't give me that only it shipped UPS. Here we are at January 24th, no delivery. Just tried calling again, no answer. This is by far the worst company to do business with. And while pricing was cheaper, shipping was way too expensive.
Going to put in stop payment on our CC. Stay away from them.

"After I placed my order there was a discrepancy on the grand total of my order. I call them right away and they never picked up the phone. Then I email them canceling my order all to no avail. BE CAREFUL, do not order anything from these scumbags. I will report them to The Better Business Bureau. "

Order would not process using 2 different credit cards

"Great selection and prices, but unable to submit order after trying about 10 times. Conrtacted customer-no-service but no reply. Then I noticed reviews and finally figured out this is not a legitimate business. Complete waste of time. Try elsewhere."

Buyer Beware

"What we ordered was different then what was posted on line. Tried to work with their customer service agent Fran. She was extremely rude and not willing to pay. They do not have the product they advertised online and what they sent was unacceptable. She kept saying she had to leave before working with me the customer to resolve the issues. Fran put me on the phone with Miguel who hung up on me. I am refusing to pay a higher rate then they did to ship it back as well as a restocking fee for their website error. I have contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge. THE LOWER PRICES ON THE WEBSITE ARE NOT WORTH THE STRESS OF RECEIVING THE WRONG PRODUCT AND DEALING WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT!"

"They had this advertised almost at the top of google search. Spent a lot of time and energy researching best price and came upon them. Ordered tool only to have them email me next day and say "no stock". Why advertise then? Then I saw all the reviews........

My own fault for not researching the seller I guess. This place looks like an absolute joke. I will never even attempt another purchase from them.

Don't waste your time

"This outfit is a complete joke. Don't waste your time (or money) here. I ordered a 3 dollar part and have wasted hours attempting to get them perform. I now find myself having to dispute the charge on my credit card as they NEVER did send the part after repeatedly informing me that they would. Don't waste your time here. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. These clowns are not worth it. You've been warned. I just wish I had done my homework before getting involved with this worthless company."

Buyer Beware!

"Called and spoke with an employee regarding ceiling registers that would fit my HVAC openings. A size was recommended, which turned out to be too large. When I called regarding returning the items, I was emphatically told that none of their employees recommend anything, ever. I was eventually given permission to send the 11 registers back, but was told that I might have to incur a Restocking Fee. There is no mention of a Restocking Fee in their Terms and Conditions. The postage will have cost $60.60, with the return. I would not advise anyone use this website until the company "gets their act together" regarding giving advice, and trains their telephone contact in customer friendly communication."

OK Transaction, BUT....................

" Found a terrific deal on hummingbird feeders online from HOS. Ordered online, gave credit card info, got no response, acknowledment, interaction from HOS so I checked reviews and found LOTS of problems with shipping, follow through, overcharges, fail to ship............ Because all that worried me, I sent them an email detailing my concerns, promising quick action should they fail to follow through. Finally, got someone on the phone (after numerous tries with no answer!) several days later who was able to confirm my order and give me order number. I then suddenly got all these confirmations in email. Followed the order carefully to delivery. When it arrived, I found 25 GLASS feeders dumped into the box with brown paper above and below. Very poor packing! Fortunately only one broke. Contacted them with three options: Replace just the glass, replace one feeder or, refund me the price of one feeder (thus saving them shipping)....naturally they emailed that they'd refund a feeder. Originally feeders were $7.59 each and shipping was $17.88. When I finally saw an invoice, feeders were $5.69 each, there was a "fee" of $1.90 each and shipping was the same. You can guess what they refunded .....$5.69! Glad to be semi successful! At least I got most of my product and didn't get totally screwed as it appears they occassionally do. NEVER will go near them again!"

Absolute worst shopping experience ever encountered.

"In all the years we have been in business, we have never received an order from a supplier in the condition a recent order was received from this "company".

38 out of 48 pieces have some sort of damage to the exterior boxes. Several boxes have water stains and are covered with dust and dirt.

Under no circumstances, will we put these items on our shelves in the condition they were received.

Order (a liquid product) was literally "thrown" into a flimsy box with absolutely no protection. Exterior box arrived damaged, ripped and torn.

We regularly order this product from our usual supplier and they ALWAYS come in sturdy boxes in packs of 12, direct from the manufacturer; then the packs of 12 are shipped in a larger STURDY box, with appropriate packing material filling the gaps.

Considering the length of time it took to ship and then receiving the order in the above described condition, is simply unacceptable.

Whether you are a consumer or a business, stay as far away from "HOS" / HardwareOnlineStore as possible. There is no customer service. Phones are not answered. We had to email three times for an order confirmation, but card was charged immediately. Order was placed 2/24/16 and not shipped until 3/8/2016, which is unacceptable for a business to business supplier.

Don't be suckered in by their low prices - pay a few cents more and give another business your money.

"I was looking for a Farberware 2-4 cup percolator for my daughter to use at university. I searched online and found this HardwareOnlineStore (HOS) offering it for $59.99. It was a good start, right? Yes it was a good start. However I did not realize the nightmares to come from HOS afterwards.
First, the order procedure. I went to their ordering screen, selected the item and clicked ADD TO CART and went to the check out screen. The check out screen did not show any shipping option so easily I assumed the S/H would be free. I was completely wrong. The HOS charges the shipping for $41.78 (from their store to CA!) Since I need this percolator, I thought even though they were ripping me off, I wanted the percolator. So the order had been placed on June 20, 2015.
Second, the shipment.Their policy says the shipping will take 3-9 business days via UPS. Normally we would think we should receive the item between 3-9 business days. We ARE totally wrong. The HOS plays the number game. I called them on June 29, 2015 and a very rude customer service lady said, it will be shipped out during 3-9 business days! What a hell? I was patient enough and called again on the 10th business day which was today (7/3/2015). The same lady said no shipping status has been found, the boss was in a meeting and I have no way to track your order.
This really drove my blood pressure higher. I wanted the item, had been forced to pay the shipping, and I have been patient long enough, the HOS has not even shipped it out after 9 business days passed. I TOLD that lady, let's stop playing the game, I CANCEL my order. She said okay we will charge you re-stocking fee! WHAT? They didn't even ship the item out yet and wanted to charge me the re-stocking fee? This is the WORST business I have ever dealt with.

I called my credit card company and filed DO NOT PAY dispute right away!

NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!
