"My husband and I ordered 5 cheesecakes for our wedding. I even called with questions before placing my online order. I set the desired date of delivery and placed the order. The money was drawn out of my account then was deposited back into my account. I logged in to Harry and David only to find my order was canceled. I called and was informed that due to the large size of my order my account was marked fraudulent and therefor had indeed been canceled. They apologized for their error and we proceeded to place the order again by phone this time. I was guaranteed over night delivery. The day before our wedding I find my bank account had again had the same withdrawal and deposit of my order. After 20 minutes on hold and a return phone call I was told they never took the code off my account from when it was flagged fraudulent. I was offered an apology yet again and a 20% off coupon. Needless to say we had to find our wedding cheesecakes elsewhere. We live only one and a half hours away from them but with all weddings we had no time for a 3 hour drive which is why we opted to simply order them. The LEAST this company could have done after canceling our order twice was to drive them up themselves. I will never order a thing from this company ever again."
"We got a cheese, salami and cracker picnic hamper delivered for Christmas, hoping to put it out for guests. The cheeses were awful, the crackers were stale, the salami was - well, at least it was chewy. What a waste of money!"

"I ordered this for my wife for Christmas for the year. So far the wine has made it each month, however 2 of three months the cheese was not shipped. As a result I had to call their customer service and ask what happened to the cheese pairing. My impression following the conversation was although everyone was nice, they were just going through the motions of making the customer feel heard."
"I purchased a box of moose munch with 3 flavors, milk choc, dark and caramel. upon opening it had 3 of caramel . I called their customer service and was told nothing they can do and did not even take the info on the package. Was told must have been packed wrong but just enjoy it really ! "Very disappointed with this company! I posted the order of a gift basket on a Friday and paid more to get it delivered the next day. That Friday evening they called me to let me know that they wouldn't be able to deliver on Saturday but instead, they will deliver on Monday and they gave me an upgrade on the basket. On Monday I tracked the delivery and it said it will be delivered on Tuesday (again, delayed). On Tuesday I called and they told me they deliver the basket on Wednesday for sure and refunded me the extra money I paid for the delivery. To my surprise, on Wednesday morning they called me to tell me they won't be able to deliver the gift basket until the END OF THE MONTH! This company is so disrespectful to the costumers, I won't recommend this company to anyone! And by the way, I'm still waiting for the complete refund of the purchase."

"I ordered family multiple items to couple of addresses. Some high end meats arrived open and moldy. Harry & David replaced them to their credit but not sure recipients ever regained appetites. Another family member did receive the etched champagne bottle and enjoyed it but that was a secondary, non-Harry & David order. A third order never made it, was rerouted, and then never re-routed nor arrived. Oddly I was never offered a discount, refund or something more commensurate to the tragedy in a sense. Wasn't looking for a freebie but even a discount offer towards future ordering would've sufficed. I also find that American customer service reps understand more relative cultural concepts than the foreign so outsourcing isn't favorable."
"I received a box of fruit from a very nice couple from my church fruit was rotten so I called David and Harry to let them know lady took all information and said I would be receiving another box waited a few weeks and nothing so I called again and was told no record of my call but he would make sure I got another box by Jan 9th now its Jan 10th and as of yet NOTHING update 1/11/2020 I did receive a box of fruit today and everything looked good but should not have had to go through all this. The sweet couple that gave it to me would be very unhappy if they knew."
"Received a box of pears as gift. After allowing the ripening process, they were sweet, juicy and yummy, although a couple had thicker skins than I would expect. Also received second box that also had nuts and cheese. The cheese was okay - sort of like the least expensive in the grocer's. The "premium" nuts (in a bag) were awful: the walnuts tasted rancid. Called the company: within 2 weeks had a replacement bag (in a tin) that tasted a bit better, but the walnuts still had an 'off' flavor. Fortunately, the birds didn't seem to mind. What happened to the quality we always expected and received? Too diversified? Too many stores to stock? The freshness seems to have suffered."

Received a box of Cara Cara oranges from a family member for x-mas and there were two oranges that were decaying with blue and white mold on them. I attempted to contact them by email several times with photos attached and not a single reply. Most likely due to a **** ton of similar complaints.
Seems like I am not the only with this experience. Perhaps this would be a great investigative story for all to see. DISGRACE"
"Had a gift sent for the holidays and spent a ton to have it delivered on Christmas Eve and it wasn’t delivered until after Christmas. I have emailed the company 6 times to get a refund on the shipping cost and no response at all. I will never shop with this company again. "

"Ordered two Naval orange trays from Harry & David to give as gifts. When I opened the Harry & David box two days before Christmas I found one tray had an orange covered with white & blue mold. Of course at that point it was too late to replace the missing orange from the twelve orange tray so we had to do some switching. I sent Harry & David customer service an email to which NO RESPONSE was received. Next year I am back to Hale Groves or Pittman & Davis, both of which have been reliable in past years. "

My sister ordered a CHRISTMAS meal package for our family, the initial order was delivered to an address in the WRONG STATE !! Really ?? Multiple phone calls were placed about the mishap and urgency for Christmas. Our family was assured that a replacement order would be overnight shipped and we would have it the following day.......long story short, the subsequent replacement order not only never arrived for Christmas, it just NEVER ARRIVED !!!! Additional phone calls were met with profoundly poor customer service, lack of professionalism and an obviously poor documentation of who, what, where and when this order crashed and burned, as it was stated that there was no record of a replacement order on file ?? Our order has since been disputed with the card company, and the money will be refunded.
Additionally, to add insult to the injury, our scathing reviews on social media outlets (expressing dissatisfaction and truthful comments) have resulted in our comments being erased and access to their page(s) are now BLOCKED. Now, I’m here to tel, you, that’s Harry & David’s professionalism and customer service at its best. PLEASE AVOID this place, and save yourself a BUNCH of aggravation....there are much better choices out there."
