I don't know if they changed management over the years, because most of the bad reviews are from a couple of years ago. But really, I couldn't be happier with my purchase."
"I see a lot of people writing negative reviews so I wanted to leave my positive experience. I made an online purchase two days after the “guaranteed by Christmas date”, I didn’t realize it until after my purchase and read the shipping details, I was very distraught and after googling reviews I just knew I wasn’t going to get my order in time. I continued to check the tracking page the same day for some miracle my order might be shipped out early but after no change I decided to call customer service and to my surprise my order had already been shipped through fed ex and they provided a tracking number. There was no wait for customer service when I called either, was directed straight to a person. My package actually arrived 4 days before Christmas despite making my purchase after the order by date for guaranteed delivery before Christmas, not to mention I ordered several items, not just 1 but four items and all arrived safely. So I would give an A+ for my experience and service. Hope this helps ease someone’s mind who may have made a recent purchase from the Harry potter shop!"
"The experience I had with this site was absolutely unbelievable! I placed my order on December 3rd. Apparently there was an issue with my rural address and they did not contact me until December 10th, a full 7 days later, to confirm my address. I then finally receive an email that only 1 of my 2 items had shipped and will not be arriving until December 26th, the day after Christmas! I specifically spent extra money to receive free shipping and my second item was apparently on back order which was never once communicated to me. I called in to see what could be done about my problem and waited on hold for upwards of 30 minutes before being transferred to a supervisor. Rebecca, the absolutely useless supervisor then proceeds to tell me that she cannot cancel my order or refund my money, the only thing she can do is give me a discount of FIVE DOLLARS!!! This is after I spent over $130 on gifts for my husband for Christmas. Her excuse is that this is high season for them and they cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.....even when I ordered a full TWENTY THREE DAYS EARLIER TO ENSURE IT ARRIVED ON TIME!
All I can say is that my husband and I are pretty big collectors and we will NEVER bring our business to this website ever again. Do not spend your money here as they will simply take it and run, regardless of how they treat their customers in the process. "
"They sent me the wrong calendar, not just the wrong color but for the previous year. Then they claimed the mistake wasn't theirs and would not honor their policy to pay for return shipping. I'm not sure the guy understood everything since they sounded like they were located in India. I'm filing a dispute with the credit card."
"This is one of the worst companies I've worked with EVER!! I ordered a charm for my daughter on the 20th of DEC, now it is the 30th and I still don't have the item!! I've called customer service several times and had to wait for over a half an hour!!! Then when I tell them the situation they just don't care and act like it's my fault!!!
