"So, I'm in need of a cheap, Dual-WAN wireless router for a client. Despite my better judgment, I give the Hawking H2WR54G a try. Worst mistake I could have possibly made in regards to networking hardware. Period. After futzing with this item for about 4 hours (two of which were on the phone with, and getting hung up on by, their 'tech support', I finally just give in and switch back to his old single-WAN router and show him how to do manual fail-over for now. Please do keep in mind that I am an MCP, I have my Net+, A+, and about 20 years of computer and networking experience, so this was not user error. My C-Net review of the hardware itself: http://reviews.cnet.com/routers/hawking-h2wr54g-wireless-g/4864-3319_7-30883805.html?ctype=msgid&messageSiteID=7&messageID=2382768&cval=2382768&tag=uolst
I seek a refund for the faulty piece of crap, and I'm issued an RMA number. I send it in, yadda-yadda... well, here we are on the fourth of July, still waiting for a refund. Despite multiple emails, a complaint to the BBB (where the company has an F, I might add), I'm still without my $100. I don't feel I'm asking too much to actually get my money back on a product that did not work, now am I?"
