"This company definitely has holes in its promises. First of all, customer service doesn't know its thumb from its toe. Anticipate a late delivery, my dress was supposed to arrive before May 15th, I receive it today, May 25th, 10 days late including weekends. They said they would deliver it within 3-5 days and by either DHL, UPS, or TNT(located in LA), so I call all companies and they have no information on my dress on the saturday of my prom date. I end up receiving my dress by EMS instead. They lie to keep you at bay and away from asking questions. They don't give you a tracking number even 5 days later. Now lets get to the quality of the dress I received, it wasn't greatly packaged but did make it in one piece. Please be strongly aware, the photos on their site are EXTREMELY deceiving. They try to recreate these designs, the photos on the website are not originally their designs, judging by the workmanship of the product I received. DON'T ORDER PD1731, save your money. My straps we're cheaply put together, like literally just a piece of cloth folded together with a bead tacked on here and there and with little crappy plastic clasps to attach them together. For your special day, go that extra mile to that expensive designer shop or boutique in your area and get your stuff, don't go cheap, especially with this site! At least if someone still screws up your special moments you can chase them down and beat them with a stick because they aren't in another country with horrible contact (a phone number that is disconnected, slow replying, repetitive, uninformative email responses, customer service on skype who guess your dress has been shipped and are clueless to even what carrier or what the tracking number is). SIMPLY HORRIBLE!!!! The clearance $100 dress I bought from Macy's the day before my prom date was 10x better and had good material too minus any crappy workmanship!"

She assured me the color was corrected and that I would get the dress in time. WRONG. I got the dress over a week late and it was the wrong color. They will not refund my money nor do they care thathey ruined what was suppose to be very special event. "
"Biggest Scam Ever! I ordered dress (WD0066) from helenebridal.com on March 10, 2010. I Was suposed to recieve the dress in 20 business days;unfortunatly I did not recieve the dress until the 2cd week of May. I immediatly tried the dress on when I recived it and it was three sizes too big. The gathers in the the front of the dress that swooped from high hip to low him were 6 inches too high on one side and 3 inched to high on the other. The chifon gathers were pressed pleated and wrinkled. They also pooched out about 3 inches making your tummy look big. My wedding day is set for June 6, and my dress still sits at my local alterator trying to get repaired as much as posible. The dress looked nothing like the picture. They try to recreate all of the dresses that they show online. On a further note, their communication sucks and any negative testimonial you post on their website will never be seen."
"I just received my dress this week. I ordered it March 17th and was told it would be here in 20 to 25 working days. Prom was two weeks ago and I had to go out last minute and get a new dress and then was told I would get a refund on this one. This was the worst scam company I've dealt with yet. The phone number on the web site is no good and when I e-mailed they would not respond. I sent several e-mails and they only responded when I sent a really nasty e-mail. that is not something I would normally ever do but they were AWFUL to work with. When I finally got the dress it was nice but absolutely huge!! It was at least two sizes larger than what I had ordered. This is a terrible company that I can only hope goes out of business soon, or gets a whole lot better with customer service than it is right now. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!"
"I would not recommend this company. I bought two bridesmaid dresses for a wedding I was in. I paid the extra to have them rush make one, to be sure it would be in time for a May 8 wedding. 2 weeks before the wedding (and long after the rush dress should have arrived) I started to email them. Finally I got an email back saying the dress would be there in time and had been finished but they were backed up in shipping. Well, they shipped the 2nd dress on April 30 (the dress that wasn't rush ordered) and it got here 5 May and had to be overnighted to the wedding location. The dress that was rushed arrived 6 May - after I told them I had to have it earlier. I still haven't gotten that dress from FedEx. The dress I have picked up was plain, nothing special, and barely fit. I swear they sent me the wrong size, but they say its impossible. They also refused to return any money paid for rushing the one dress - even though I received the non rush dress first. I had the dress drycleaned before the wedding and the padding they built into the bust fell out into the skirt before I even wore it. This was an awful shopping experience for me. The bride regretted having her 8 bridesmaids buy dresses there as we all had to send emails asking on the statuses of our orders. The company barely speaks any English, and refuses to acknowledge that they were wrong for accepting my money for a rush order and not actually rushing it, and telling me that I would have it on time when I told them I needed it by a certain date. For the price of the dress, and the quality of the dress- you are much better off buying from a local store, it will cost you the same, and you'll actually get it and it will fit."

Our total shock over the dress we received was indescribable. The dress itself was drastically different from the picture on their website and it was unwearable. We checked your measurements for a size 4 on their website and the dress didn't match any of them. The dress was basically a joke which couldn't be worn. This is absurd. We requested a complete refund because we didn't get what we ordered via e-mail but all correspondence stopped.

"This company is a TOTAL FRAUD!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I ordered 2 bridesmaid dresses from them on March 23, 2010. Before placing the order I was assured that if I paid the $40 extra per dress that the dresses would be made in 7 working days. After over 30 emails to "victoria" at Helenebridal.com the dresses were shipped. They were Shipped on April 16, 2010. THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING! They dresses finally arrived 2 days after the wedding. They were totally made wrong. We submitted and confirmed measurements taking by a local bridal shop. The dresses were made WAY TOO SMALL. My dress was 11 inches too small in the bust! We tried the dress on another girl and the shoulders were sewn so badly that they stuck up in the air when the rest of the dress somewhat fit. I have filled for refunds and they have refused. I filed a complaint with paypal and they refused to help because I got the dresses. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! I am out $405 for these two dresses. PLUS out the $200 I had to spend on "replacements" for the wedding. "THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE. I ordered a white wedding dress, 7 bridesmaids' dresses in burgundy, one formal, and one custom dress from helenebridal.com in February, 2010. After 6 weeks I finally rattled their cage enough for them to locate my order and ship it. When it arrived, the 7 bridesmaids' dresses were RED, not burgundy, and the custom dress was totally mis-cut. It was nearly 3" narrower at the shoulders than the measurements I gave them, making it barely bigger than my 9-year-old's dress. Naturally, I couldn't possibly wear it. I sent them pictures of the dresses, along with a picture of the custom dress with a measuring tape across the shoulders, clearly showing the width. All the paperwork enclosed with my order showed my correct measurements and the correct color, so I had all the evidence I needed to prove that both of these were their mistake, not mine. Nevertheless, they would NOT make it good. The most they offered me was $100 in compensation, and then they didn't even give me that after I raised cain about it. With 5 weeks 'til the wedding, there was no way we were going to ask these people to remake the dresses, nor did they offer to. Basically, they apologized for the wrong color, but that was it, and they totally denied miscutting the dress, though the evidence was perfectly clear in the pictures. They had no understanding or concern for the fact that they had ruined someone's wedding, and, in addition, they expected me to pay for their mistake! No matter how good it looks or how low the price, you're just gambling when you order from helenebridal.com. It doesn't matter what you ordered, if they send you something different you'll still have to pay for it, unless you use a credit card that will reimburse you for these kinds of things. "
