Go with QA1

"Ordered a set of coil overs for mustang II suspension. Called the tech line and asked questions on rebound and extension of shock length. I was answered by a young man that seemed to have more important things to do and just said they will work. Received them and the spring rate is 450lbs, to much for my car. I called them to see if they can exchange for another set that are lower, 300-350. Was told that they have nothing lighter. I should call QA1 and get a set from them. I ended up buying a 375 lb set from speedway that are made by QA1. I can't return springs because I bought as a kit. Can't return kit because I threw the packaging away. I should of purchased from QA1 to start and I would of been money ahead. I'm into the Helix kit more than if I went with QA1. Sorry I chose them. I'm not impressed with the duo they have working the customer service, it's like talking to a couple of teenagers. "

Helix 63 to 78 corvette coil overs junk

"Helix corvette and I guarantee others are made the same. They are total junk. If you own a machine shop u can fix them or at least make them btr. There engineering team are a joke and so is the CS tech. Grumpy old guy that thinks his junk is good. They give you Raw Materials that are half way completed. Lol they say KIT? YUP a DIY kit! Spend 200 more and get real parts! "

helix suspension 1971 chevelle front control arms truth

"very quick review to tell you about these guys. I purchased a pre-owned set of their upper and lower control arms on ebay. I took them to a local business and had them installed. I got the car back and it looked absolutely terrible because the camber was WAY off. The business owner explained nothing could be done because the product was built wrong. Monday I called Helix and they did not answer the phone. I left a message with my problem, informing them I did NOT purchase from them, or from one of their retailers, and how they could get back with me. To my surprise, they did within 1 hour. The guy (I believe Jason), was just plain GREAT. He explained the control arms mounting arm can go two different ways (clearly described in installation instructions but the shop failed to read). I went out and in 45 minutes the car looked great. These are by far the highest quality, nicest handling and riding front end components I've had... and I've purchased MANY for MANY cars. Going to their site monday to see prices they sell for, they also are EXTREMELY price friendly. If you want a sweet set up for your Chevelle without going broke in the process... they build a GREAT product and they stand behind it."
