Say goodbye to service. Once great, now awful.

"A change in ownership has eliminated the once-great customer service and turned our favorite place to buy headsets into a shell of its former self. Say goodbye to Hello Direct. They're Hello Direct in name only; the owners in FL have no idea how to service customers, and the old ethic of making a purchase fun and satisfying is gone. Rip your clothes; the real Hello Direct is dead.
Exchanges and return requests will elicit a "Well, we'll see if you get approved for a return." Hmmm. Your website says I can exchange or return. What's got to be 'approved?' Once I was granted clemency, my return credit card charge was not processed promptly by HD. Took a couple of calls to get them to credit me.
The pre-sale experience was a clue. No one was especially helpful or informed about options or features. Nor did they mention I was buying, in 2023, a headset charged by a USB mini connector. Not keeping an ancient adaptor around for you; that was just proof I'm buying obsolete product.
A conversation with a supervisor was unsatisfying. No one really seems to care here anymore. "I'll bring it up at our meeting" was the answer to my concerns. My better answer: buy elsewhere.
