I have been unable to use my printer for months now!!
I have tried calling
I have tried your stupid chat that is nothing more than a stupid ignorant comp program that is useless!!
I canceled my ink subscription because of this and since then my printer will not connect and print.
My printer is being held hostage because it won’t print without a subscription!!

I went in and tried to resubscribe… It allowed me to change my payment option.. WILL NOT LET ME CHANGE OR LOWER MY PLAN!

unbelievable experience

"I really don't understand how this company are still trading! The first computer I bought turned out not to be available due to a mess-up in the warehouse so they cancelled it after I had waited 2 weeks.
The second computer would not let me enable the camera to be used for the facial recognition sign-in and the technical department could not fix it. I sent it back for replacement but it took 5 days to collect it and then it would take nearly 2 weeks, so I changed it to a refund and bought a different model from HP. Then they sent the replacement as well as the new one, so I ended up waiting weeks for the refund.
The new one I bought arrived with the same fault of the camera not working with the windows facial sign-in. When the technical help realised, after some time, that it was a compatibility issue between their machine and windows they suggested that I contacted windows directly because they would not do it. The assistant I was dealing with did not seem to understand my annoyance at a computer manufacturer not being interested in sorting out their machines' compatibility issue with the operating system that runs on 99% of their machines. He also didn't seem to get it when I pointed out that they should not advertise 'facial sign-in' if it didn't work. One of my mates used to work for them and said they were poor; what an understatement!!
I have since realised that the computer camera is also not compatible with Microsoft Teams either, I just updated the post-sales team who levelled with me that he could escalate it but nothing would happen!!!!

Laptop from Hell

"I purchased a Pavilion Laptop computer.  When it arrived, the keyboard did NOT light up.  I called customer service and they alerted me that the computer model I bought did not have a "back lit" lighted keyboard.  They kept trying to tell me I made a mistake but was on the site with them and kept pointing out that the specifications on my invoice clearly stated that the keyboard was lighted.  Finally, they agreed to send me the correct computer.  I should have just cancelled the order but had already paid.  The computer took 1.5 months to arrive.  When I got my credit card statement I saw an extra charge of $154 in addition to the price of the new computer.  I called, and as you see on here - the customer service (if you can get someone) is one of the worst in any industry...especially for something as simple as an inquiry of this extra charge.  On principle, I stuck with the call and kept trying over and over again to reach someone.  Finally I reached someone and they told me "oh, the extra $154 charge was a 'restocking fee' since you 'returned' the first computer sent to me."  Really?  I explained to them, over and over, that the mistake was HP's mistake and that they sent the "wrong" model to me.  They kept putting me on hold, for long periods at a time.  Finally, they told me they would credit the $154 "restocking fee."  Guess what?  Yes, you are correct - they never, ever credited my account.  I had to call at least 7 times and they kept up the same stance "we will credit the account."  I even recorded the conversations and kept telling them I keep getting told the same thing but still has NOT been credited.  I even tried my credit card company and they were unhelpful, too.  They kept sending me the invoice telling me I DID in fact purchase a computer.  I agreed that I did purchase a computer but that HP erred and sent me the wrong model.  Still, I could not get any relief.  I finally gave up and paid the $154 fee.  I implore anyone reading this that the frustration and anger I felt is still evident today.  I should have just gone to another company as computers are really commodities anyways - you are buying customer service and technical service/support when you purchase a computer.  I had bought the computer in the fall and by the time I got the laptop it was around the holidays and New Years.  I was so frustrated that my holiday was not as happy as it could have been, exacerbated by the covid pandemic to boot.  Stay clear away from this company, HP.  Also, I cancelled my credit card account and moved to another bank.  "

hp omen 15 garbage

"I bought and hp omen 15. First problem my battery went shipped out for repair didn't have it for 3 months. Then I extended warranty by 2 years. In that time my keyboard keys shift, ctrl, f, 1, etc and windows stopped working my charger went then my video card started glitching, my audio card stopped playing on my headphone jack then the speakers went. So I decided I'll us bluetooth guess what happened my bluetooth cuts in and out even if I'm 10cm from the laptop last but not least one of my usb posts stopped working. I have an old hp and I 17 inch and and it was buggy and slow and the battery stopped keeping g a charge after 5 months and audio card went. I also have the problem of the support they give you witch is horrible to get ahold of support is like a huge obstacle course or like I join fear factor. I'll never buy another hp computer again. "

"If I could rate them zero, I would. From their tech support to their customer service, they are an absolute disaster. I had a small issue with my laptop. Called tech support for a minor issue. Let them take control of my computer. Tech person fixed the issue (just had to fix a setting) then proceeded to do a bunch of unrelated updates (BIOS and such) this wreaked havoc on my system and I had to reset my machine to factory. Because of these issues, I lost 2 days of work. Also, purchased a care pack (bad decision) and was told I could get a refund if I decided I didn't want it. I've called four times over 2 months and have yet to receive a refund."

Don not buy!!

"Ordered a laptop for my son for school at the beginning of January with an expected deliver date of a week later. I then received an email that we wouldn’t get it until February 23. I waited and never received it. I called the lady that I talked to said she couldn’t give me any information about it and that I had to wait for an email. I received an email the next day saying that I would now have to wait until March 20. I called again and said that that was not going to work. She laughed and said that it didn’t matter when I received the laptop that it would get there when I got there. I explained to her that I didn’t find it funny at all considering my son needed this computer for his engineering school now. I will be calling Monday to cancel the order. Spending $2,000 on a laptop and I will be taking my business somewhere else. "

Terrible - Computer and Customer Service

"I purchased an All-One PC for my son and I to use. I contacted HP prior to purchase to confirm the computer could accommodate what we each were looking to do. They advised that yes it could. I ordered the computer 12/19, received it 12/31/2020 and set it up. Downloaded a game my son wanted to play and within 10 minutes of playing it the screen began to flicker between the game and a black screen. Then the screen went black entirely. Tried a different game, same thing happened. I specifically asked if the graphics on this computer could handle these games and was told yes. Now they are saying it can't. So I guess they tell you what you want to hear to get you to buy their computers. This is the last HP computer I will purchase. I have a warranty and the extended care package and when I contacted customer service, they told me I have to PAY for assistance. The customer service rep was rude, just trying to rush me away and didn't want to be bothered to try to assist me. Just kept telling me I had to pay for help!!! What is the point of a warranty and care package, if they won't assist?!"

Bad customer service.

"I am very upset about HP.
.
I ordered HP online. And I ordered many option and extra paid.
But I found wrong assembled my PC.
.
I talk to customer service over 10 times.
But They didn't undestand my issue.
Some customer service woman said "Did you open and see inside laptop?"
I can open and make sure inside because I am professional about PC.
And she said " Why you can know wrong?" I said, I can open and show proof. But she said "We can't accept warranty if you open PC yourself in about future.
Very rude word to me.
And Still this laptop is new.
But they don't accept replace or refund return.
I have two Dell PC. I tried buy HP.
I shouldn't bought HP.
Maybe Normal customer can't understand wrong assemble.
I could understand.
I don't recommend buy PC from HP.
You should buy Dell or apple.
Please carefully everyone.

Worst experience I can imagine

"The computer I received was defective and it wiped out everything on it when it was restarted. I understand things happen and they just have to be fixed. I called in and they said it needed to be replaced and since it was within 15 days, they would send a new one and replace it. This was a main business computer and it is needed every day. HP did not stand behind their product because they couldn't find any to replace it and they did not know when it was going to be in stock again. I guess I am just supposed to shut my business down and wait, except that's not how the world works. They said they could find a computer with similar specs and possibly replace it. Well, once we found an acceptable computer- which was a lesser computer but I was willing to accept it- they wanted me to pay the difference! I spent around 20 hours switching everything over to the new computer and I'll have to do it again. Plus- I spent over 6 hours on the phone with customer service and tech support and managers and on hold. I was transferred to over a dozen people. I was even hung up on by one of the managers because they didn't want to help me and I guess had better things to do. This was the worst experience, service and products I could imagine from a company like HP. I would never recommend them to anyone. Get a computer from another company. I went to Dell- it was less than 15 minutes on the phone and I had found the one I wanted, with the specs I wanted and they were friendly, helpful and fast. So much better, easier and faster than dealing with a terrible company like HP."

Hewlett Packard WORST LAPTOP AND SERVICE EVER!!

"I recently bought a HP 17-BY0001TX 4DQ72PA 17.3"FHD Core i5-8250U 2G-AMD Radeon 530 8GB 2TB DVD W10, the issue I have with the laptop is that the left hand hinge has become loose over a short period of time through regular opening and closing of the laptop this has cracked the base also, I have contacted HP regarding warranty as the laptop is only 6 months old, and the damage is not through abuse or any type of impact if it was I would have claimed it on my home insurance.
This is where the problem begins.
HP requested photos to assess the laptop and advise what course of action I should take, they have basically told me it is my problem and they will not cover the repair, I asked to be put further up the line to talk to someone but was given the same blunt answer that it is my fault, then they offered to repair it and do the labour for free, they wanted me to pay for the parts, the parts estimate was $300, I found the parts online for around $100 so I can only assume they wanted to get their labour fee paid for also.
I have had numerous contacts with their warranty service with no success and having the same thing repeated to me every time like a broken record, I can only assume that is what they are taught at the GFY warranty school at HP, I have looked online and found numerous laptops made by HP with hinge issues and various complaints regarding this issue but I have been told that my laptop is not one of the ones suffering from this issue, surprise surprise.
So in closing if you want to buy a laptop and want any sort of after sales service or quality "STAY AWAY FROM HEWLETT PACKARD"!!!! this has been the worst experience I have ever had with any purchase I have ever made in the 50 years I have been on the planet, I have had numerous laptops over the years and never had such a flimsy poorly constructed piece of s**t before.

HP Printers: Designed to FAIL!

"I have an HP Color Laserjet that I bought a little over a year ago. I only bought it because HP stopped creating compatible software updates for the previous HP that I had, so I had to get rid of a perfectly good machine because my computer could no longer communicate with it. This one however, an f477fnw now has a perpetual error message telling me there is a paper jam even though the jam has been cleared. HP tells met that the standard fix is to replace the "Fuser," which according to the service dealer that they recommended is cost prohibitive. I am paying thousands of dollars every year for their extremely overpriced toner. (The old model also worked just fine with 3rd party cartridges, this one did not.) I will NEVER by an HP product again!!!"
