"Ordered 12/3/07 thru eBay, Buy it Now. Paid immediately, received confirmation of payment receieved. 10 days later, nothing. Emailed through their website, got item out of stock email. Replied requesting email, got item shipping today email, replied again requesting refund, got SAME EXACT item on backorder email. Suspect all emails are bot generated did not originate from anyone. I've tried calling several times and always go to voicemail before someone answers. Place walks and talks like a scam shop. Stay away - stay way far away."
"HIFISOUNDCONNECTION is a complete scam. I ordered from them, and after 3 weeks of not receiving anything, I called the customer service line. The answering maching hung up on me, so I emailed.
They politely responded that the item was not in stock, but would ship early that week. They also offered a store credit.
A week later, I emailed again, and received no reply, so I initiated a chargeback with my CC company. They replied the following day, saying that the item would ship soon, and I told them that I disputed the charge.
The reply email was very hostile, indicating that they would offer free shipping, but I had to reverse the chargeback or they wouldn't help me. I sent them a note back saying that I no longer wish to do business with them, and I would only reverse the chargeback if they would void the transaction and charge immediately.
They again sent hostile emails accusing me of not trying to contact them. They also said that they couldn't do anything about it, as the item shipped today.
I called to tell them AGAIN that I did not want to do business with them and would only reverse the charge if they credited my CC card and voided the transaction.
That's when the poop hit the fan. I have never heard a chick get so crazy as Lisa. She asked me if I was going to receive the product and maintain the chargeback, and I said no, I am going to refuse delivery and maintain the chargeback. SHE FLIPPED. "THEN YOU CAN GO TO HE11 YOU G__D___ MOTHER FU__ER." I kid you not. This chick is crazy.
If you have been ripped off by this company like myself and many others, you may be happy to know that one victim found the business' physical address. It is Sound Connection at 1270 North Robins ST, Nixa, MO, with a phone number of ***-***-****.

So I emailed them and asked for tracking information, and they replied that my speakers were out of stock and asked if I would like some different ones. When I resorted to paypal dispute they ignored that as well, yet decided to ship the item to me 2 days before I collected my money. "We'll I was a returning customer but after this last transaction I'm never returning again. This company fronts like its this great audio store, but their nothing more than a ragtag fly by night company. If anybody wants to see what NOT do to your customers in business, read the negative comments because they are all true. I've been trying to get a refund for an item they did not ship and I'm going on over a month now. The worst part about it is I'm an installer who ordered a set of speakers for a customer. The speakers where less money then what my distributor wanted for them, and since they haven’t screwed me over before this, I ordered them. I also placed an order for a speaker box with that same order, over 2 weeks later I finally received the speaker box, BUT NO F***ING SPEAKERS. I emailed them asking where are the speakers I explained I needed the speakers ASAP and told them that the customer was not going to wait another week for the to arrive. So OK that’s my fault for not having the speakers for my customer, but it is their fault for not shipping them out within a reasonable time. 3 emails later they finally decided to respond to the situation, and all I got was we're checking with our shipping dept. YOUR CHECKING ON IT !HELLO! Don't check on it just refund my damn money you A-HOLES. Don't tell me your shipping dept. is so big that you can't realize the fact that you screwed up royally. Trying to get a peaceful resolution from these people is like trying to get blood from a stone. And if you’re thinking of ordering from them just bang your head against the wall a couple of times it will be more satisfying than having to deal with their customer service. Oh and if HiFiSoundconnection is reading this, use your head, don't send an e-mail begging me to leave you positive feedback at this site, when you can't handle a simple refund for a product you couldn’t ship. This company doesn’t have as many negative reviews on eBay but hopefully that will change and others will see that this company can not be trusted. Lesson learned and I will pay more to a company who will make sure my items are shipped fast and on time. "
