"I'm glad I only purchased a $40 item from these guys, because I don't expect to ever see my item or money. Well, hopefully the credit card company will get me my money, anyway. I used to work for a catalog company and industry/ethical practice is you don't bill the customer until the item ships. These guys billed my credit card, never sent my purchase, and have never responded to numerous voicemails (no one ever answers calls) and emails. They are at best dishonest, at worst an outright fraud. I was surprised to see that there were people posting here who received any communication from this company. I have to believe that the positive responses were bogus and left by employees of the company. I usually do a better job of checking out who I'm doing business with .. I won't let my guard down like this again.
Update: the credit card company went after these guys and in mid-December, wonder of wonders, they sent my item. Naturally, months earlier I bought the same thing (for a much lower price I might add) elsewhere because it didn't look like I was ever going to get my item from these jokers. I don't have any more time to waste over $40, and it's obvious they are not going to take a return. I'll sell this on Ebay and chalk it up as a lesson learned."

I'm located in Ireland, was a bit reticent about buying from a US-based vendor, but the service from HiFi Sound Connection was perfect - on time, good comms, good price. I recommend them - especially for Dynamat products.

"I left positive feedback because your store did get me my item quickly but I did have a couple of comments. First, when I bought the product, I did a Buy It Now and was taken to your site to purchase it but couldn't so then I went through eBay to pay for it and did so via PayPal but then your site thought I hadn't paid as I received two emails requesting me to pay and I eventually had to send an email to make sure that you did see that I had paid through PayPal. Al;so there was no confirmation that the item had been shipped and the status of the order on your site always said "Processing". This also led to me having to email to ask when would it ship. I did however receive it the next day but it would have been nice to have known when and/or been provided a tracking number.

"I guess I fell victim to this company as well. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! There customer service is non existant and they literally ROB you of your money. I tried to contact better business buearu but they could only do so much. This company should be sued for how they treat their customers. Basically I purchased a crossflow fan for my amp. I recieved the prodcut, within 10 seconds it stops working. I then e-mail them 3 times with no response, leave 2 voicemails and finally get an e-mail back saying that your e-mails are all unreadable, then why wouldn't you just say that from the first one? Never recieved a call back, then another rep. helped me and issued me an RMA number. I sent the item back and waited and waited. Finally I e-mail them back and say ok, so where is my replacement or e-mail confirmation that you recieved my return. The customer rep rudely replies to me and I quote " ok I guess you completely failed to read the return email we sent you". When she didn't read the e-mail I had sent stating that I did send it back according to the RMA instructions but have had no response! Anyway so now I'm waiting for my product and its been 2 weeks. They told me it shipped out USPS First Class but you would think it would of gotten here by now? I contac them and they say no tracking number is available. What a bunch of bull. This company is horrible."
"Let me start out be saying STAY AWAY. I ordered an MTX thunderform enclosure on july 6th and paid for 3 day shipping. After a week goes by I tried emailing them numerous times and never got back a responce about where the enclosure was. I also left numerous messages on thier so called voice mail but still had no success. At that time I contacted paypal and filed a complaint. The same day I filed the complaint I received a responce that the enclosure would be in on thursday but if the complaint was still open the order would be held. I closed the complaint ( sham on me) and once again waited. After a few days I contacted Payapal again and they said that since I closed the complaint that there was nothing that they could do but if I filed with the local law enforcement that they would release the info to me about HIFISoundConnection. I contacted MTX about the enclosure and they said that their was a 7 day backorder on it. So once again I waited. After week I contacted MTX again and sope with a customer service rep who confirmed that the order had been placed through HIFI but that their was an issue with their account and that the enclosure would not be shipped out anytime soon. It doesn't take a genious to figure out that thier account was probably on credit hold. So I started looking around online and found on www.RIPOFFREPORT.com that they were located in Nixa, MO. So at that point I looked up the stereo shops in that area and found a Sound Connection at 1270 North Robins ST, with a phone number of ***-***-****. I called a few times yesterday and no one ever answered so I found a business across the street from them and I called and inquired about Sound Connection. Bam, I hit the nail on the head because a few hours later Lisa called me wanting to know what I thought I was doing stalking thier business and trying to find out about them.I explained to her the situation and she tried to make up and excuss about it being on back order and that they had already been shipped out. Thats when I informed her I knew that that was a lie because I had already spoke with MTX about them and I knew that it was not going to be shipped out. That made Lisa even madder ( oh well ). She then demanded that I tell her how I found their corperate info and I informed her again that I found it online and in the phone book. The next thing I know she said that she had refunded my money to paypal and that i need to quit stalking her company. I checked and yes she did refund my money but for the hassel and headache I feel she should has sent me back 3 times the amount owed. For anyone else that feels that they have been taken use the info that I have provided and pick up the phone and even look on map quest for business around them and start calling. Also file complaints with your local law enforcement and also in Nixa, MO. Good Luck
