"Stay far away from this place! This was the abosolutely worst place I have ever dealt with on the internet. My order was placed on 6/28/07 and my card was charged the day after. When the order had not been delivered by 7/06/07, I left numerous voicemails, and sent emails inquiring as to the status of the order. The order showed up on 7/11/07, but it was not complete. It was missing a Clarion EQ, and there was no invoice, no packing list, or anything else explaining the shortage. Over the next 2 weeks, I have left voicemails, sent numerous emails stating that I didn't want the EQ, just credit my Visa, all without answer. Finally, I contacted my Visa bank, and told them the story. They credited my account for the item. Case closed, right? Not so fast... yesterday the EQ shows up in the mailbox! I sent HIFIsound an email back stating that I wanted them to send a call tag for it, and they answered right back "no returns", and they were going to charge my Visa again. Outraged, I called Visa and told them the story. They told me, unfortunately, I have to send the item back to them insured, and return reciept requested (at my expense. When I have documentation that I was no longer in possesion of it, they would make sure that HiFisound did not re-bill me. Wait, this just in.... I got another email from HiFisound stating that they don't accept "un-authorized returns" and it will not be accepted. Nice place, huh? Well, I did what I was told to do by the Visa company. We'll see what happens next.

The saga continues... I sent the EQ back insured, return receipt requested. They refused delivery! Looks like it is headed back to me. Anyone want a free clarion EQ?

"Every bad thing you read on this page is 100 percent true dont mess with hi fi sound connection (period). Left 30 -40 voicemails 20-30 emails and have not received but two response saying that my order was on backorder and the next day saying that it was going to be in at the end of week. Never received my order and never able to talk to anyone or get a real response back. By far the wrost online business and because of people like this is why people dont like ording products online. Save yourself a problem go else where!!!!!!!!!!

"I ordered four items from HiFiSoundConnection.com and received them within five days; the nightmare began at that point. Two of the items I ordered were correct, but the other two were not the ones I ordered. As per the other many posts about this company, I have sent them many emails to every contact address I could find for the company including sales and customer service, and haven't received a response. I've called their customer service number many times and left messages each time. I haven't heard a word from them. Their "online" customer support is perpetually offline- I'm on the internet at various times every day and have never seen it live.

I've sent them a final flurry of emails and given them until the end of the week to resolve the issue, at which point I'll have to send back what they sent me and dispute the charges on my credit card. I'll also be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Take my advice and save yourself some time: They may have the cheapest prices for what you're looking for, but wouldn't you rather pay another dollar or two to save yourself the maddening experience of a company with zero customer service and inane business practices?

"I purchased an item that UPS lost. HifiSoundconnection told me the situation would be resolved in 3-5 days. More than a month later I finally pulled enough teeth to get my order. The package's disappearance was not their fault. However they proceeded to promise me in writing, they'd refund the $25 shipping fee I was charged since I'd gotten my package over a month later. When I contacted them to ask why a credit hadn't yet been applied to my credit card, I was told I wouldn't be getting the credit they had PROMISED me in WRITING. When I told them I'd dispute the charge because I had their promise in writing, I was told I was being "greedy." I had already emailed them copies of the email they sent me with their promise in writing, and like a little kid, they simply ignored it, despite my request to respond to the previous email contents and not shift the focus away from their earlier promise.

Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere. You're not going to save any time, money, or headaches by dealing with these rude and dishonest dirtbags.

Ask yourself, "Why are there so many negative ratings for this company?" There's a reason for that. They're terrible merchants.

"So far, my experience with this companie's service department has been the worst ever. I have left over 10 messages because god knows why they can't answer their phones. No one ever calls back. I sent about 5 emails. No one writes back. Their "online help" is just another way to leave a message. Guess what?? No one responded to that either! Shocking news there. My item was finally shipped on July 5th. We'll see how it turns out once it gets here. The part number is the same at this place as many others so theoretically I'm not getiing some cheap knock off crap. More to come. Well, I received my subwoofer set yesterday and installed it according to the instructions. Things got off to a rocky start with this company, but it ended up all right since I love my item. As to wheteher I would order from them again or not, the jury is still out on that part. There were no problems with the product this time, but how do I get ahold of them if there is a problem on a future purchase? Please DO NOT ORDER from these idiots. I had a problem with my system a week later where the subwoofers simply stopped working. I had an amp that only pushed out about half of the max power for the subwoofers and I again could not get ahold of these people. Their online support is not real and they have the unique ability to avoid all calls that come there way. Emails do not work either. I had more fun having my wisdom teeth pulled than dealing with these morons. Please, do not contribute the the soundation of stupid, idiotic, and rude employees that calls itself hifisoundconnection.com"

"I PLACED AN ORDER FOR 2 12' MTX SPEAKERS ENCLOSURE AND TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM NOR HAVE I RECEIVED THE 100.00 THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CREDITED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. "Where to start.. I placed an order for a thunderform box for my Chevy 1500HD, amp wiring kit, and line output converter. They shipped the amp wiring kit the following week, claimed the line output converter was in the box when it was not. They shipped another one a couple days after being notified. Converter came in and was defective, have ignored every email about this but hey no biggy it was a $9 item.

Onto the box, I emailed them every week for 3 weeks, each time with an excuse for a delay in shipping. Finally told me last week it was on backorder and would ship THIS WEEK. I found another box in town last week because I had already waited over 2 weeks, I called them twice on 05/31/07(thursday of last week), left a voicemail and also sent Justin an email(all durring business hours) stating I wanted the box order cancelled since it hadn't shipped I no longer needed it. No response from them thursday or friday, come friday night I get a UPS shipment notification for the box, go figure. I called them all day on saturday, and yesterday(monday 06/05/07) leaving multiple voicemails and emails. Finally get email responses, no phone calls have EVER been returned. Basically they told me to screw off, if I wanted to return it there would be a 20% restocking fee.

Company has the WORST customer service I have ever seen, delayed shipping of the box for 3 weeks, shipped it when I told them to cancel the order, and refuse to make it right even though they made me wait 3 weeks and sent me defective electronics.

If you could careless about shipping time, after purchase customer service, and enjoy being raped with no lube, choose this company!

"Me and my brother came across this website after looking for speakers and found this website to be the best deal. My brother had ordered a kicker 12 l5 05 and a 1.6 capacitor and a 1250 power acoustic amp and paid extra for ups 3 day. So 3 days later he got a package opened it up and he got his amp and his subwoofer. (there was no capacitor) I ordered a kicker 15 l5 and a capacitor i received my capacitor in 2 days but have not received my kicker l5.

We have emailed over the past few weeks around 20-30 times. We call this website only to get an automated message saying all there staff is unavailable leave your message. They get back to you allright but only to tell you that you need to call there phone number again to reach them.

So yea this store is great if they have the items in stock but if they dont have the item not in stock youd have better luck trying to find land out at sea.

Still have not received my kicker subwoofer nor my brother receive his capacitor wednessday april 4th

"This originally started as a bad review, but I've edited it. I received the wrong product and after seeing the bad reviews here, put in my complaint a little to soon. I received a call back the next day and they are sending a call tag (just received) for the return and will be sending the correct product when it comes in. They appear to be a small store, so some amount of patience is required when calling, my call was returned in 24 hours. The best way to contact them seems to be email. I'll update this review when I receive my correct product.

They did in fact cover the return shipping of the wrong product and a week later when the right product came in stock, they sent it. Other than my impatience on waiting for a return phone call and them sending the wrong product initially, it was a pretty good transaction.

"I made purchase of 2 pairs of cerwin vega hed-1683 car speakers from here because they had a great price. then after trying to get to their web site to check my order failed, i started to read the reviews and I thought, oh no. but my speakers arrived 6 days after my purchase and no hassles. So my experience was good, so much so that I am buying 2 more pairs from them. That was my experience.

"I purchased $669.39 worth of speakers, amp, and sub-box. The sub-box they sent was the wrong size for my speakers and they didn't even cut out the terminal holes or even send the terminal cups with the box. I have emailed and emailed them about my box being wrong and still no response. It has been almost a month now. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Trust me for that much money that I spent at least they could make my sub-box correct, but they're not I assume."

"Don't buy from this store!! They have the worst customer service ever. First they sent my order to wrong address. The package was returned to the seller HiFi Sound Connection, but they never told me so. I found this out by tracking the package. The address I had wrote was correct, so they told me they could refund my money, but nevere did. After a lot of calls, and emails they refunded 80 % of the payment and nothing for shipping. They said it was company policies, but I could not fin any such information on their websites. I would never buy anything from them again, and I realy recomand averybody to find their car audio in another store!

"ordered a sub box to fit a 2005 4 door(quad cab truck) told them what I wanted it to fit in 3 different emails before ordering, they sent link for the box,I figured they would know what fits better than me,afterall they the ones selling the item, received the box, wont fit, only fits extended cab chevy trucks, now they wont answer emails or phone calls, long story short, I will end up with $30 shipping to get the box to me and back to them, they dont wanna refund any shipping...dont think I should be stuck with shipping, after all I did specifly the truck I wanted the sub box to fit 3 different times...(fact), live and learn I guess, rest assured, The University I work at, wont be buying anything from this company ever again...
