"I would just like to say that this company is very helpful and has great service. I had a minor issue with my computer when it arrived and they were able help me over the phone and get it working in no time. The person i spoke with was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions. I would recomend buying from this company."
"I am very unhappy with HiPe Computer. I purchased 5 computers and 1 server, as well as installation services, from them in February 2008. Motherboards have failed on 2 desktops and the server. The Logitech Mouse that came with the computers has some sort of incompatibility problem that causes the pointer to jump to another place on the screen. The HiPe installer who dealt with all these problems and was supposed to network and troubleshoot quit after 5 weeks of unsuccessfully trying to get everything to work.
I am writing this review in May because today (on a Wednesday) the motherboard on the server failed. My new computer support person (unaffiliated with HiPe) called them and requested support as required under my warranty. They said they couldn't look at it until Friday and they probably wouldn't be able to fix it until the manufacturer sent a replacement. My business cannot function without a server for a day, much less the weeks it sounds like HiPe thinks is reasonable.
Their computers are poorly made, with cheap and unrealiable components and their service is awful. My advice: stear clear."
"I ordered a Daisho computer from them. It's two computers in a single case and while I don't really think I needed such an expensive computer, I'm pretty happy with the results.
Shipping was okay, it was really well packed in a double box, but the box was pretty plain. The company's name is 'HiPe' but a brownbox doesn't knock me off my feet.
The computer is pretty great actually though. The build quality was clean enough to eat off of. With four hard drives, three DVD drives, fans, liquid cooling and two whole computers, I honestly expected a rat's nest, but got one of the neatest cabling jobs I've ever seen.
Product documentation wasn't really great - All of the discs were there, motherboard manual, but I was expecting something like a user's guide. But hey, a computer's a computer and it powered up with no problems.
Customer support is good. I spoke to three reps total, all were nice. They emailed me about an hour after I got the computer to help me set it up and I spoke once when I had an issue hooking up my plasma to the secondary computer.
Aside from the bland box and documentation, this is about the best computer I've ever owned."
"Bigtime thumbs up! Good communication, nice people too."
