Never Received the Gift Box

"I purchased a $52.00 gift box as a Christmas gift for my uncle and he ever got it. I called the kiosk in North Carolina several times who refers me to customer service, scanned and emailed the receipts to customer service who said I have to call the kiosk and all my uncle has gotten are coupons to buy Hickory Farms. I will NEVER purchase Hickory Farms again after years of ordering and sending gift boxes."

"The gift I ordered for my dad never got delivered. After waiting for over 30 minutes on the phone, they could not find my account - even with my account number. Customer service rep was yawning on the phone and eventually said they couldn't help me. Stay away from nickory farms"

Took my money and ran.......... or......No show.

"I placed an order Dec. 22, 2019 for $193.00. I received a confirmation email that I would receive my order on or before Dec. 26. On Dec. 27 I called to track my order. I was told that 3 out of 7 were out of stock. I may get them Dec. 2020 in a year from now. Why wasn’t I told this before. Why was I told that I would receive it Dec.26. Needless to say they ruined my party. I was put on hold 7 times for over 38 minutes until I finally hung up. If I could I would not give them 1 star."

Not even 1 Star

"I ordered my Christmas Eve ham on December 13th and paid for expedited delivery. Ham was to be delivered on December 19th. Ham never showed. I called on the 20th and was told it will be delivered. I called back on the 21st and was told that it was out of stock. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said there was nothing he could do and asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I flipped out and he hung up on me. I called back and another supervisor tried to get it overnighted but it arrived on Christmas Eve at 4pm frozen. I had to go buy another ham at a supermarket. Now I have a $75 ham in my freezer"

Never Again

"I wish I had seen these reviews first. So sad when you are emailed that your product has shipped on time only to find out (too late) that Hickory Farms never transferred the product to Fed Ex (per Fed Ex). I was proactive and timely in placing this order (Dec 3rd). Once the holiday has passed, there is nothing you can do but feel so sad. The inability to contact them easily by phone and a different rep responding to each email inquiry was insane. They now indicate they placed another order, but I have no idea when that will be shipped. All the guests have returned home. This was my contribution to a Christmas gathering for my family that I was unable to attend. This was all I had to offer in the way of help for my sister who hosted. Never again.

SO painful

"I ordered a gift basket for christmas and I was making sure if I will receive it on a determinate day and it never arrived. I call the customer service and they said the product is on the warehouse yet and they don't have shipments for these days. They will send me as soon as they can and after one more day they replied saying the product is out of stock."

BEWARE

"Hickory Farms is a joke. Do not order their overpriced, overrated products. Customer service is absolutely non-existent. Ed a supervisor at the pretend customer service line is a nasty pos. I paid an extra $35 for expedited shipping and it took 5 days to get there. Then it took no less then 3 phone calls to get my shipping back. Oh they say they will call you back within 24 hours, Ed's take is they got a little backed up, 4 days later still waiting for the first call to be returned. Ed it turns out is a very frustrated middle age disappointment to EVERYONE. I guess that is a good reason to be so very nasty to people whom have spent over $150.00 with your company. Amazon has much better baskets and a larger meat and cheese selection and the best yet Amazon delivers on time and if not they don't **** you around with poor excuses and best yet you don't have to deal with Ed."

Never arrived.

"I’m always puzzled how businesses like this get away with such poor customer service. I ordered a gift tower for a loved one’s 80th birthday. It never arrived. On the day it was supposed to arrive I was unable to find any tracking information so I called customer service In the morning to find out where it was. The agent was unable to tell me and said she would send a message to the warehouse and call me back. She never called me back. I called later in the afternoon and spoke with another agent who said that she was unable to tell me where the package was and would send another message to the warehouse. She said she would call me back if she was able to get any information. She never called me back. I emailed later in the evening as the package had not arrived (customers service now unavailable). They are out until Monday, birthday was Friday. Huge disappointment and embarrassment that my 80th birthday gift never came. Please avoid Hickory Farms if you are ordering for a special occasion. "

Worst experience

"I have had the worst experience not once but twice! First was back in December I ordered a basket that they never sent now I ordered another for Father’s Day they once again never sent not only are they not open on the weekend and father day is on Sunday but when I did get a hold of them on Monday they said there wasn’t a reason why it wasn’t sent they would look into it and have some one call me and still didn’t send my basket. Call next day wanted on hold twenty five minutes when no one answered finally hung up and still haven’t heard anything and never received my basket "

Wish there was a 0 star rating!

"I ordered a gift basket and got a confirmation of order - that should be great, right? WRONG! So I wait a week for some kind of email stating that delivery has been made, payment was already taken so delivery can't be too far behind. I finally call Hickory Farms and was told "well that's on backorder" I asked where my email to tell me that was and the answer is nothing. I said this is ridiculous, it's already been a week and now what? I cancelled the order and get told, "refund in 72 hours" 3 days is ridiculous for a product that was never even shipped - I asked for a manager and the rep tells me "well she's only going to tell you what I did" boy was she right! the manager not only just parroted what the rep said, she offered no apology or assistance to attempt to make the situation better. I wouldn't use Hickory Farms if hickory farms, themselves paid for the product! what an absolute disgrace! "

Never again!

"I made two orders online in November, 2018 for delivery before Christmas. Never received a confirmation email after placing the orders. Called customer service a couple days later to confirm. The rep told me the order did not exist, but after 20 minutes, was able to locate them and said she would send the confirmation email. Again, did not receive the email, so I called back again. Again, was told the order did not exist, but after 42 minutes, the rep was able to locate them. The packages did not arrive when they should have. Called back to find out what the status was. Once again, was told the order did not exist, but eventually the rep did find them. I was told the orders were still in the warehouse and will be shipped soon. After the packages were still not delivered, I called back to hear that one of the items was out of stock. The rep told me they would ship a replacement overnight. The next day, there was still no delivery. Calling again to customer service, I was told there was no record of any of my previous calls and that the orders would be shipped overnight (again). The rep told me they would offer a refund of the purchase price for the troubles, which should have been in my account by December 24th. I spoke with 2 different supervisors about the refund. Today is February 3rd, and I still have not received anything. I have lost all trust in Hickory Farms, and will no longer be doing business with them."

Unpatriotic Losers Order #60570911

"In late November I ordered a gift basket for my daughter who is stationed in the USAF, Yakota Japan. I was assured that there would be enough time to get the order shipped for arrival before Xmas. The order shipping confirmation never came with a tracking number but going to an APO overseas, I could imagine that tracking might be difficult as I was assured that the package did ship.
This was lie #1
I kept checking with my daughter on the days leading up to Xmas but the package never arrived. I E mailed customer service 3 times and they finally acknowledged (after Xmas) that the order never shipped and had been out of stock.
This is the insult to the original injury.
Needless to say, my daughter never received her Xmas package and I was devastated. I have been communicating 3 times since trying to get my refund. Every time the response is that I will receive my refund to my account within 72 hours.
These are lies #2, 3 & 4
I am a private business man and cannot come to grips with a company that has the unmitigated gall to openly & knowingly lie to their customers and show zero respect or priority to our soldiers that are deployed on foreign soil.
I am also a USAF Veteran and current Vice Commander in the American Legion.
I will make it my mission to insure that Hickory Farms gets the press they deserve and I have never failed to execute a successful mission.

Worst customer service ever!

"I ordered a gift box for my 75 year old mother for Christmas. She never got it. Three times I called customer service and 3 times they said they would ship a replacement. Nope, they lied. Never sent it. Took me a month to realize they are scum bags.

Never again will I order from Hickory Farms!

"I ordered gifts to be delivered by Christmas, and ordered them with ample time. They were for all my siblings and four orders were made to be delivered to 4 different addresses. I paid for delivery as well- no free delivery was given.
One package was delivered on 12/20 and the other 3 were never delivered. On the 26 of December I called HF and was promised a refund of $100. Today I have yet to receive my refund!
I was told HF had a computer glitch and my orders were never sent. Yet, I never received an email stating this either.
I called 4 times to ask for my refund and each time was told, yes it's on it's way but it will take 5 business days....well it never came. I had my bank do a claim and still no refund!
I just called them today 1/11/19 and was told they would look into it today and that I'd have to wait another 72 hours before a refund was made.
I will never order from them again! I want my refund!

Horrible service

"I ordered prior to Christmas and was given a delivery date prior to the 21st of December.
On the 21st I received one of the packages out of 4 ordered. I spent about 2 hours on the phone trying to find when the other 3 would arrive. I was assured they would arrive the next day and that I would receive a phone call or email to give me tracking information. I received neither.
On Monday the 24th I again starting making calls and was assured that they would arrive that day. It did not happen and again the call or email I was assured I would get did not happen.
On the 26th I again started calling and told them that I no longer wanted the items, as they were Christmas gifts that I had to replace. I was told that it would be cancelled and my credit card would be credited in 3 to 5 days. This has never happened. On the 28th the package arrived and I now have a lot of meat and cheese boxes that I have no use for.
Terrible customer service. I will not order from them again.
