I looked up some reviews(many negative) and started to get nervous, so I called their customer service and the line was disconnected, I tried again days later and the phone rang without anyone picking it up. I tried E-mailing them twice, and never got a response, but to my relief I finally got an E-mail on August 23, 2012 telling me the items have been shipped and they came in today, August 27, 2012 and everything fit perfectly and looked just as pictured. I received all of the items I ordered and I'm pleased with the products. However the customer service is why I gave this rating 3 stars"

"I have placed an order with these guys, just $46, I got a support email stating it would only be at most 14days for my order to arrive. IT HAS BEEN A MONTH. I have sent ONE email cancelling my order since I will no longer be in need nor interested in their product, no refund, no reply, nothing. IS THIS LEGAL? CAN WE SUE THEM FOR FRAUD? CON? ONLINE THEFT? Because as far as I can see, they have been swindling people of their money for a while and no one does anything but complain or writes a review. How many more people have to be duped? We have, and it feels awfully unfair and we should do something about these guys."

"I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. I purchased $75 worth of items that were never sent. They charged my credit card immediately and when I inquired about my items they emailed a couple of days later stating that my items were on backorder and would be sent out at the end of the week. I have a copy from when I ordered and the items were not on backorder but they added that to all but one item after my email. The end of the week came and went and my items were never shipped. We eventually had enough and I emailed again asking for a refund which of course they never responded to so we looked up the contact number to the store off of our credit card statement and called and cancelled the order. We have yet to see a refund to our account. "

"This is a store that truly doesn't get it! About a month ago I made an order from hippieshop.com. While NO part of my order has EVER arrived, I was charged the full $115 immediately. Weeks later, I get an email saying that part of my order had shipped and my total bill was $95. I emailed customer support to inquire about the inconsistencies in the dollar amounts . . . No reply. I resend inquire to customer support and finally receive an email talking about the slip of paper I received in the box they sent me - I have STILL never received anything from them. If they had read my email, they would have understood that. No apology. Next I send a curt email about TX AG and BBB. This gets someone's attention and they call me. Alas, they still have not read my email. Over and over again I had to remind the woman that they had taken my money and so far I have not gotten a single item. To the very end she didn't seem to understand why I might be irked . . . Of course, since she didn't see a problem, there was no apology from the company . . . WTF! They did nothing to make it right. I canceled the item on back order. We'll see if I ever get my money back or any portion of my order. Avoid this very un-hip site like the plague! Peace."
