"Using the Hitchfinder service was great. However, the hitch we received was defective, and we were up against the clock since we needed it installed right away to tow a UHaul. Specifically, only 5 of the 6 mounting holes lined up with the holes underneath our van (an '07 Honda Odyssey). The sixth was a whole inch off! LUCKILY, my uncle is a metal smith and we had the tools we needed in his shop to attach an extension (via welding, cutting and grinding) and drill a new hole (via drill press) where it was needed. But for anyone who doesn't have the luxury of knowing the right people and being in the right place at the right time (I'm guessing that's most people), I would make absolute certain to order your hitch WELL in advance in case you have to return it for a good product. (For the record, this hitch was ordered specifically for our make/model/year of vehicle.)"

"I was looking for a heaver hitch for my Mercury Mountaneer than the round tube style I had. I logged into the REESE Draw-tite hitch website and was quickly directed to several choices for my 1997 SUV. The hitch came quickly with free delivery using UPS ground, and fit perfectly. Believe them when they say Custom Fit. The instructions for the hitch covered all the steps. Total time 7 days from order to installed hitch. just a week before Christmas. Thanks HitchFinder. I will probably also purchase a load equalizer the same way. "

"Item does not fit my model car - there is no way this is physically possible. When I contacted Draw Tite I receved the following message:
"I would suggest for you to call the MFG of this product . They are known as Cequent . Cequent is the parent company that owns Draw-tite. Their tech line number is 1-***-***-**** ."

After contacting Cequent I find out the product does not fit my car - there was a design change for the 2011 Volvo C30. The pass-the-buck customer support does not jive with the current ad campaign of customer satisfaction. The "Customer No-support" missed the inital call of the hitch fitting my car and passed me off to the parent company because his records indicated it should fit. For their multiple screw ups I am demanding they pay for return shipping on the return hitch.

Mark Kennedy contacted me and is issuing a UPS pick up for the receiver. He explained the issue with this model car as a "new" car year and the records they had indicated it would wourk when it would not. They are doing what they can do to make this right. "
