"You can go all over the internet and see the praise heaped upon this thing by others, so I don't have much to add to that. All I can say is - they're right.

I'm using it out of an iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Pro 12.9, and a 2010 Mac Pro. Sounds amazing out of all three, absolutely wonderful sound. I'm currently using it to drive a pair of HD700s, and I never thought I would hear these things pushed to their limit from something so small. I was wrong.

The bass is tight and powerful. The treble is clean and accurate. The mids don't get lost at all. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed. It sounds wonderful, and seems to be fairly accurate. I'd say it has just a bit of color, just enough to add some life into the music. Or maybe that's just how it's supposed to sound.

It does get rather hot if using it for a while, but I haven't had it do a thermal shutdown yet. Charges fairly quickly, battery life is decent too. Their quoted numbers seem about right.

Overall I can't recommend this thing enough, definitely one of the best purchases I've made. If you want to get more out of your headphones, buy a xduoo xd-05"
