"Terrible... Liars!
I ordered a SoftDog cable for the Esky Honeybee on 01/26/2012. Received an email stating that it shipped on 01/27/2012 via USPS (no tracking number with the email). When I did not receive the item by 2/8/2012 i made a call to Hobby4Less. After leaving a voice message (seemed to be a persons personal voice mail, not a company) I also left an email. I waited 2 days and received no response. I left another voice mail and email, waited several hours and called again. This time my call was answered. After giving my order info and asking why I had not receive the item he stated they were in the process of moving their warehouse. I questioned the shipment email to which he said that was an automatic email and there is one person that processes the order and another that fulfills the shipping so something must have gone awry. He ensured me that it had shipped and I should receive it in a couple of days. Fast forward to 2/13/2012 nothing received. Call again the next day, same voice mail and email left again...no response to either again. 2/15/2012 I call again and it actually answered by the same person I spoke to on 2/10. I again go through the spiel (order number, none receipt of item, etc...) and he remembers talking to me. After another discussion about why I hadn't received the item and his response about the warehouse and 2 person process he stated he would 'personally' go to the warehouse, locate the item, ship it Priority Mail and email me a tracking number. Fast forward to 2/18, no email or item. I call again an leave a voice mail stating I want a full refund but I don't expect you to respond to this voice mail as you have never responded to either voice mail or email the past. I call several times later that day and resume calling again on 2/20. After about 5 calls (not leaving a voice mail on any) someone does answer...it is the same person I've spoken to on the other occasions. I again give him the order number and he states 'oh yes, I have issued you a full credit...check your PayPal'. I check my PayPal, no credit. I tell him I'm not getting off the phone until I see the credit in PayPal. After a minute or so he says check it now. I don't see the credit. He says he will email me the screen print showing the credit. I let him know that would be fine but I'm not getting off the phone...you have lied to me in the past multiple times, why should I trust you now! Any rate to make a long story longer, I did receive the full credit but wanted to share my experience so that others will avoid attempting to order anything from Hobby4Less.com"
"Buyer beware - bad company ripped me off. Hobby4les should be avoided. Glad I Paid with paypal so i can file a claim with them. Bought a Heli from them that was suppposed to be RTF but came missing the 4in1 controller and all the bonus part promised. Called them adn they actually answered. He instructed me to email him with information. All but 1 email sent to 4 different addresses came back returned and undeliverable. Called over the last 8 days and phone goes to full VM box. They have not responded now for 14 days and Heli still doesnt fly. Bought 4in1 controller from xheli.com instead but cost $40 more. Do not but from this company or you could get screwed like me."
"Ordered a Speed Cobra 1:10 Electric 4WD Off-Road Buggy and received a Speed Cobra 1:10 Electric On-Road Racing Car. Customer service phone number goes to voicemail and nobody returns your call. Emails to customer service either bounce back or to store also go unanswered. Website advertises that car can go 50mph while actual box states that the speed is 60kph, which is about 37mph. False advertising and no after sales customer service. Product appears to be gray market from China."
