"SLOW shipping. I ordered in the evening on March 22 and they had not managed to ship by the morning two and a half days later, so I canceled my order.

Almost anyone should be able to ship in-stock items faster than that.

Worse yet, customer service promised to call me back and advise if they could cancel the order, and they did not.

"I am not sure what to think of this company. I placed an order on the 14th and it is now the 17th and my order status is still " pulling from warehouse". On the 14th I also ordered from trainsandstuff.com and my order was confirmed shipped ( given to the curryer) 8 hours after I placed the order. So for now I cant give an approved rating for Hobbylinc.

Edit: I must have not noticed the listed shipping date, I will revise my review upon delivery of order."

I have had my share of such problems, but not with Hobblylinc this company is true to it's word. And excels at making the customer number one. "I am an avid model builder and have purchased many kits from on line vendors. In this case, I pre-orderd a soon to be released kit not knowing when it would finally be shipped. It took quite while for the kit to become available but Hobbylinc emailed me every week reminding me of the order and giving me the status as well as the opportunity to cancel the order. The communication was great and I really trusted they were doing their best to serve me. The kit finally came in and will be an excellent addition to my collection. And the price was incredible!
