"I recently purchased 2 pairs of New Balance Coolmax socks from Holabird, based on the photo they display on their web page advertisement. The photo shows a picture of the socks BEFORE New Balance changed them last year--by "change" I mean making the socks a little cheaper and less desirable. Not terrible to be fair to New Balance, just not the same quality as before. Shoe and local sporting goods stores near me no longer carry the older, better quality socks, so I went in search on the internet.
I thought I found them when I saw the photo on Holabird's website. So I paid a little more and then paid for shipping. However, when the socks arrived they are not what was advertised; they are the same version I could buy locally. The incorrect/dated photo on their website may be a simple mistake, but I am not happy and will not be doing business with Holabird again."
