"I was looking for a GOOD walking shoe. I love to power walk, (about 3 miles a day), but I have arthritis in my toes and knees, as well as a bunion on my right foot. I've tried New Balance Rocker Bottoms but they were not very cushioned and felt like I had wooden blocks on my feet. So I Googled "Best Walking Shoe" and the Ascis Neo 4 came up as well as about 5 other shoes. I looked up all the shoes for style and read all the reviews for comfort. I decided on the Ascis and ordered them from Holabird. I had never heard of Holabird before but they had the best price and my size. I tried them on as soon as they arrived and could tell immediately that they were too tight. I thought that if I keep them on my feet for at least a half hour while walking around the house, I could stretch them a little and they wouldn't hurt as bad. No luck. I called the company and talked to a rep. I asked her if I maybe needed a WIDE in my size. She said they didn't come in a wide. So I explained my situation and she suggested about 2 or 3 other pairs, but nothing was available in my size 9. I was frustrated to find out that I had to pay for the return shipping, $10, even though I had tried to get something else in exchange but nothing was available in my size."

"I have been wearing Reebok Classics for over 20 years. A wide shoe, 2E, has always been a perfect fit, making those shoes the most comfortable I have ever worn. When I was ordering a pair of Reebok Club MEMT shoes, a 2E was not available, so I ordered a 4E, which I thought would be acceptable, even if a bit wider than I was accustomed to. I was shocked to find out that the 4E pair was so narrow that I could not even get my feet into them. I later read some reviews which indicated that others had the same problem with those shoes. The customer service was very understanding and helpful. The return process has been simple so far."
