"Staying at the Holiday Inn, at the rate of $207 per night with NO refrigerator and NO microwave, I find it hard to justify this outrageous cost. Granted, it was the Labor day weekend, and I know that it's customary to fleece the paying public (especially) during this time period--but even cheap, crappy motels will give you a refrigerator, at a fraction of the cost! (Some even provide a continental breakfast--also missing from this hotel's checklist!)
Not to mention having to PAY for parking each day! (Actually, I'm kind of surprised that we weren't being charged for the CURTAINS, BED LINEN and TOWELS, too!!! Then again, at this price--maybe we WERE!)
The so-called "free wifi", which only worked part of the time (my guess--due to heavy use), was very slooooow!
One positive note: the beds were quite comfortable, and had NO bed bugs!
All in all, I don't think cost was no where NEAR justifiable, and this will be our first and last stay at this hotel!!!"
