"I would NEVER buy from this online store again. I purchased a Mortal Kombat Halloween costume from them last year that was visibly damaged upon arrival and got no response from them so that I could return it. Against my better judgment and to please my 7 year old I ordered a different Mortal Kombat costume this year and now found out 6 days before Halloween that they incorrectly sent a size too big. Can't use the costume and unfortunately they have a poor return policy (if you can ever get through to Customer Service or have them reply to your emails)so now I can't even get my money back. Two pitches, two strikes! "
"I placed an order for a hard to come by Halloween costume on Sept 11 2004, I received an inital confirmation but never a shipment email although the item showed in stock. I sent a couple of emails with no response so I placed a call the first week of Oct. the call took about ten minutes and multiple numbers redialed to get an answer, at that time I was told the item was out of stock when ordered but would ship in the next few days, a week later I called back and again dialed for over ten minutes non-stop long distance to get a human, the call lasted about 25 minutes of which about 20 I was on hold, I was given the same story so I insisted on speaking to a manager and was promised an overnight shipment on them. After another 5 day wait I sent a cancellation email and guess what I received a read reciept that my cancellation had been read, this was the only email they ever read, the next day I recieved a FedEx email that my order was shipped about 6 hours after they read my cancellation! My card was charged even after they read my email and by the way I had finally found and ordered the product elsewhere.
Now I am stuck paying to return the unwanted package at my cost, however they were kind enough to waive the 15% restocking fee (Ha Ha) or at least they say they will? The final insult was a message in the return authoriztion email that they hoped they could count on me as one of their many satisfied customers! I shop a lot on the internet and 90% of the time the experience is better than brick and mortar stores, I can say this one was the worst experience yet. I was told they had system problems and that the bad hurricane season in Florida caused the problems however I have since read similar stories at other sites that speak about the same problems in 2002. Keep away!"
