"I ordered an item and I’m still waiting…THREE YEARS LATER. No refund was issued, no apologies, just silence. Buyers beware "
"I placed an order on March 24 with a quoted 6-8 week shipping time. On May 19, I emailed customer service to ask about my order and got the following reply,
"Happy to help :) I've checked and your order xxxxxxxx is scheduled to ship about 6-8 weeks after ordering, via Priority Courier (delivered in about 5 days).
I've just checked and most orders are shipping in around 45 days, but yours unfortunately, is running a bit late.
Kindly note, we make each piece by hand, as one offs, which takes a little longer, but I can assure you they are well worth the wait :)
That said, I'm going ahead and asking our production team to expedite as much as possible :)
Thanks for your patience and for being part of the HolyClothing family."
I decided to wait it out and finally received my order on July 15. That's 16 weeks of shipping time.
Also, the embroidery is not the quality I expected, and the size runs slightly large."
"I ordered from HolyClothing in march of 2022, at the time they quoted a 6-8 week shipping time. I wanted to wear my order to an even 12 weeks from the order date. At the 8 week mark, when I hadn’t heard anything I contacted them. I received an email back after 3 days essentially telling me they were delayed and didn’t know when my order would ship. I corresponded with them a few times and either got no answer at all or just the same BS over and over again. I tried to contact them via their Facebook page or at least warn potential customers about the false advertising but every comment I made HolyClothing deleted and eventually they blocked me. Now we’re almost 6 months from when I place my order and I have heard nothing. Take your business elsewhere. This company is scummy and doesn’t care about their customers only making a buck. "
"I have a lot to say about this company.
I've made 4 total purchases. None of them have been delivered within the time frame given.
The garments themselves are nice, they fit alright though I can't say the size charts are accurate. They are comfortable and the fact that they are usually adjustable is really nice if your weight fluctuates. I'd gladly continue ordering from them if it wasn't for their awful customer service.
Every one of my orders has been delayed. They'll give a quote (3-6 weeks for shipping, 8-10 weeks etc). None of my garments have shipped within their time frame, and nobody ever reaches out to let me know the status of my order, wait times, delays, etc.
This last order I've been waiting 15 weeks to receive, with no word on why it's taking so long. It was estimated to take 8-10 weeks when I ordered it. I finally emailed them and they told me wait times had been extended 10-12 weeks. That's still less than the 15 weeks I've been waiting. They gave me a $10 coupon, but who knows how long I'd have to wait for anything else I ordered from them. So I took my complaint to their facebook group. Many of us said we just wish the company had clearer and consistent communication instead of constantly pumping out new designs and colors while their orders are completely backed up. I ended up being blocked from the group by their page for voicing my concerns, while they pat people defending their lack of communication on the back, and say it's entitlement and I just need to be more patient.
Based on that alone I'm never ordering from them again."
"Just. Awful. And the amount of :) faces in their customer service responses now seem more condescending more than anything.
I placed an order from HolyClothing almost 4 months ago. They inform you 4-8 weeks of processing before shipping- great! I ordered extra early so I could have my pieces for a work event. Hundreds of dollars worth of their product.
4 weeks later.. no updates.
8 weeks later.. no updates.
I email them asking about my order, and a rep says “orders take an average of 33 days! They’re well worth the wait!” It had already been 8 weeks! 56 DAYS!!
I still have time, so I wait.
My job literally comes and goes and I had to scramble to get together a new set in time from somewhere else.
It has now been 16 weeks. I emailed them again, a bit upset. They give me no update on where in processing my order is- so now I’m assuming they never started it. The response, instead: “Orders for the items you purchased take 10-12 weeks. Well worth it!” It has been 4 MONTHS. And suddenly my items take longer to make??
I am so disappointed at this point. I was so excited for their pieces but it just seems like a scam now. I requested a refund because I have received *nothing* from them, and of course they denied me and tried to placate me with a $10 gift card after spending HUNDREDS on this order. (Like what the h*ll)
Thankfully my bank is not putting up with it so I am being refunded anyways!
So- buyer beware! They will take your money and expect you to just be okay with never receiving the products you paid for!
TL;DR : I placed an order 4 mo ago worth hundreds of $$ and they have no intention of fulfilling my order and refuse to give me my money back."
"Love the products i got, but i never heard from them except for auto response, emails, until i contacted them for the shipment being VERY late. Made an order Feb 25th, got my auto response email 2 days later, The items were supposed to take to 4-6 weeks to ship out, at 8 weeks i contacted them and they said "they are in dying". and offered me a coupon. At 12 weeks i contacted them again, they said "they are in embroidery" and offered me another coupon. Shipping was fast considering they came from india, but they need to actually talk to customers and not assume we know that production times had tripled. They finally shipped the order out May 23, got it really fast, but they need to do MUCH better at having products on hand BEFORE they sell them, or making it very clear they are not even started until ordered, as opposed to being finished up at the order date. They are not custom sized they should have a set stock on hand before offering them for sale."
"I purchased a belt and skirt for my Daughter for Christmas. I purchased in the middle of nov. After I purchased I get an email saying it may take from 4-6 weeks as they make everything by hand. Not a problem might be a little bit after Christmas by a week at most. Well in the of January I reached out to them on January 14th and was told it’s in the final stage.. (dying stage) and should ship out in a few days. Today Feb 8th I emailed them and was told the same exact thing!! I was furious and asked for an exact date on when my order will be shipped and have not gotten a response from them with several emails. I have now reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charges as I have not received my order I am also in the process of contacting the better business bureau. This company is Garbage and they don’t even have a phone number to contact someone to get answers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FRAUD!!!!"
"Because everything is made to order and is also handmade it takes a bit longer than other clothing websites. However, the clothing lasts longer, keeps color longer, and is super comfortable. Waiting a little longer is a fair trade-off for supporting an ethical business that pays a living wage to their employees and also gives generously to charity.
I highly recommend the Trinity for everyday wear, the Acacia for fancy events and my favourite so far has been the Amelia.
They accept PayPal so that makes it easier for people without credit cards "

They're designed using antique inspirations that work on every size body. They're so flexible to accessorize, I can wear them to the opera, theatre, or five-star restaurants in one form, and to Ren Faires with different accessories. They allow me to be uniquely me, not mutton dressed as lamb. I get many compliment on my style!"
"Not only were their fabric thickness and sizes inconsistent, their customer service lied to me about it. I was told that the fabrics shouldn't bleed, they do. I was told they have a 'summer' and 'winter' version of each item, except that the items I ordered were both around winter and they were practically see through. Not only that, but nowhere on their site does it warn there is a difference between ordering in the summer or ordering in the winter.
I ordered two of the same underdress and they are both vastly different. I will not be buying from them again."

The material is very durable, if you tend to rip and snag your skirts like I do you’ll be safe in knowing they will hold up and not rip and tear on you. They last.
