THEIVING HOMARY SCAM ARTISTS

"Worst experience of my life with online purchase through Homary. If I could give negative stars I would. We bought a fancy toilet/bidet which took four months to arrive and the box was completely destroyed. Installed the item and it leaked causing damage to my ceiling below. Had to remove and replace the item, pay for a plumber again, and then have my ceiling repaired. Called to get this resolved and they send me a 20 cent 6" piece of plastic tubing with no instructions whatsoever and I had to pay $20 of duty to UPS for it. (That's a whole other issue with what these import companies charge) Called customer support and went back and forth with them for another four months. They kept referring to the manufacturer. After 8 months they told me its too late to file a claim for refund and they will close the case. Thieving, dishonorable ****."

False products and horrible support

"The product did not match my expectation of colour nor quality. I immediately asked to return it since there's "30 days back guarantee". The customer support is not reachable via phone - I get a message that they are busy and then I get disconnected. I've spoken to the support via email and asked since weeks for the return labels so that I can return the items but they always give evasive responses that they need to check with the supplier and that they will get back to me. It's now been 3 weeks and they haven't send the labels even though I'm constantly reminding them! If they don't send the labels soon I will escalate this issue via my attorney."

Avoid at any cost!

"Sounds like a scam so people need to avoid ordering from them. Delivery was scheduled 3 weeks from date I placed my order and has not been delivered yet after 9 weeks. Customer service representatives are rude and not willing to solve the problem. I dont think the order will be delivered at any point of time and based on my experience Homary is a crystal clear fraud.

- Homary changes the delivery date after you finalise the payment.
- Homary was not willing to fast track the delivery or do any kind of compensation for the delay.
- Homary's agents are super irresponsible and I have been waiting for their manager's call over 2 weeks to solve the problem.

TL;DR
Avoid at any cost this absolute scam

WORST COMPANY EVER!

"Just like so many other customers describing their experiences on this site, I too have had the misfortune of dealing with this company. I ordered a desk and was willing to accept the 9-11 week delivery date but like so many others the date just kept getting changed. Then when I actually received the desk it was damaged. Very disappointing since I had purchased this item for a client. I paid for white glove delivery and assembly but did not receive it. The delivery guys delivered it but did not assemble due to no enclosed instructions. I spoke to Homary customer service who said White Glove service did not come with the item I purchased and yet they charged my card for this service. I also reported the damaged piece which they said would be replaced and the fact that the desk had not been assembled but they did not want to take my word for it and told me it would depend on what the delivery company put in their report. I had to hire someone to assemble the desk for my client. The Homary customer service rep was rude and continued to talk over me. I am extremely frustrated with this company. I'm not sure how they are still allowed to do business in the USA with their track record. Stay far far away.

Refused Refund for Damaged Product

"Homary refused to let me return a damaged product for full refund after receiving. They were extremely rude and not interested in making me happy as a customer. They also completely contradicted their stated return and refund policies. Do no trust this company."

Cheap furniture

"Got the table. It is a hustle to install this peace. Fittings doesn't match the holes and nothing to holds parts together. Plus, it came damaged. Very cheap furniture. Will never buy from this company again."

Apologies mean nothing

"Like so many other customers recounting their experiences on this site, I too have had the misfortune of dealing with this company. Had 2 orders with them - a dining table and an entry way bench. I saw the 9-11 week expected timeframe for delivery upfront and was prepared to wait. However, at week 12 I was a bit anxious due to non-delivery, hence I contacted them. As someone else said, they truly are professional apologizers. It's all BS, though. They tell you they will "rush" your order once it reaches the local warehouse. They gave me an updated delivery time which was 16 weeks post order date. That too sounded like an empty promise.

They give you ZERO notice about delivery slippage/delays. You have to actively track the order on their website (which I did). One egregious practice - they change their shipment dates amd expected arrival dates willy-nilly to suit their extended delivery expectations. For example, my tracking initially said that the item was placed in sea transportation on July 23. Then, few weeks later it was showing as placed on sea transportation mid August. The date changed (on their website) again a few weeks later. Surely they must know the date they shipped an item (and that date would not change)?

Very very frustrating experience. Please avoid this company. They are not honest, nor do they seem to care about getting you your product on time.

Worst service ever

"The worst service ever. The item that I bought was marked as available immediately. I paid for it on July 1st. Today it's Sept 20th and my order has not been shipped yet. On July 15th I was promised that the order will be delivered within 12 weeks (meaning before October 7th). Today I checked the status and it says the expected delivery time is between Nov 1st and Dec 2nd. Nobody contacted me regarding the delay of the delivery. "

terrible experience

"This is a WARNING, do not shop at this store. Everything looks great online, however, when we purchased our coffee table along with a TV stand we had nothing less than a horrific experience. The coffee table and tv stand were bought together to match each other. First, our coffee table arrived with some areas that were beat up. I filed a claim for the damages but they never responded. I tried to hide the damages and tried to convince myself that it wasn't as noticeable just because I didn't have the energy to argue with them at the time. I then said to myself that I'll just hide the damaged part and wait for the TV stand. Well the TV stand never arrived. Weeks went by and when I would call they'd say that FEDex is taking too long to ship and washed their hands of any responsibility. Some few more weeks went by and then they said that FEDex lost the shipment. At this point I was so frustrated I just requested the money back. Not to mention that you have to wait at times for almost an hour to speak with a Rep. Some times they'll have you wait for around thirty minutes and then an operator would come on and say "no one is available to take your call, please call back later" ... really? after you had me wait for half hour. When I requested the money back I also asked about the option of just getting the TV stand replaced, they said it would take at least two months to get.. ABSURD!!
So I decided to just get the money back for both TV stand and coffee table since we did not want the coffee table without the TV stand given that we purchased both products together to match each other, they told me they'd be able to give me the money back for the TV stand but not the coffee table as we first needed to return it. I am waiting to receive the money back for the TV stand and I will not get the money back from the coffee table (which is beat up) until I return it, and of course the cost of shipment to send it back is on us. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ASIAN RIP OFFS. PLEASE!!!!!! spare yourself the headache of dealing with unprofessional and shady people.

"They processed my order and delivered it promptly but there were damaged parts. I was able to contact their customer service and they took care of everything like I had never seen before, paid for the replacement parts and the cost to ship them to me. It's been a long time since a company gave me this type of respect, I will always be purchasing furniture from Homary again in the future for sure knowing I'm in good hands."

Quality is ok but horrible shipping and customer service

"Ordered from them and shipping delayed all the time, then received broken products, lucky we recorded when we were opening it, we told them that we need a replacement as soon as possible, and they said they will send us in two weeks, that’s the reason we didn’t refund it, but we are waiting another month now, phoned them last week, they said it is on it way will arrive end of this month. But when we phoned them today, they said it is still in warehouse!"
