"I was looking for someone to repair my roof. I settled on a company and had scheduled the estimate and repairs. Without fail, Home Advisor's call center was trying to upsell me on other services. I am a homeowner who can pretty much figure out what is needed, even if I cannot do the repairs myself. The attempt to sell me other items etc. is just not cool. I have worked in a call center. I know how it works. Anyway, I did tell the sales rep not to upsell me, and they made note of it.

As for the contractor that I hired through Home Advisor, they were absolutely top-notch all the way. I will be calling them again for any other repairs I might need. "

Plus, I had to call the to get the to put it back and threaten to challenge the charge with my bank. "
