"We picked 2 contractors to give us estimates. The software scheduled one of them at the time; the other was to call us. The day of the scheduled estimate, Angi emailed us saying that they were cancelling the estimate appointment. However the contractor called us and showed up as planned. Not sure what the mix-up was. The other contractor never did call. We went with the contractor who did the estimate and they were great.

But the overall process with the mixup in communications, wasn't something I'd necessarily rush to do again."

"I'm older and needed about 300 SF of sod installed. I spent months removing ugly hedges and prepared the bare soil by leveling and raking. It did not need any topsoil or fertilizer. I then searched locally for anyone willing to deliver and install 300 SF of sod. No one was interested. I went on Home Advisor and within 5 minutes of submitting my project description I received a phone call from a local landscaper who I hired. Later, about a day or so, I got one other call from a Home Advisor contractor, but by then I already hired the first guy. He did a great job for a reasonable price and saved me money (for sod) and back-breaking labor that I just did not want to deal with."

Mike Burroughs listened and took measurements. We decided to have him replace two garage doors and Windows. A storm door and a piece of molding on the outside of the enclosed porch."
