When you are seeking an estimate, rather than allowing you to contact the companies you are interested, the Home Advisor program sends out your information and you suddenly find yourself being harassed by dozens of companies who are quoting exorbitant fees, and don't seem to want to take no for an answer.
Stick to asking friends and neighbors for advice. The old Angie's list was much better"

It was approx. 2-3 weeks before we received an email from HomeAdvisors with the name of the company we finally used. It was the 3rd email from them each with a different company.
